Meniscus and ACL are very different injuries. Meniscus has a ton of blood flow and will heal much quicker. That’s irrelevant now though luckily.

i had a torn meniscus a couple of months ago when my daughter was born. still toted the ole lady around, bags, all the stuff to the hospital.

Mia Scott played an entire softball season with NO ACL

I never tore my ACL but I did tear my meniscus, pretty much the same injury Derrick Rose had. I missed two games. I ended up getting it wrapped and wearing a knee brace and finished my senior year of football, after practice it was shock treatment and ice baths, then the same Saturdays after games. Two weeks after the season I had surgery and was cleared to run track in the spring. I actually healed and came back faster and more explosive. I joked I should have torn it my freshman year maybe I would have played at somebody's college😂

I'm just ready for the season to start. The portal, OL discussion, Flu gate, Ty Smith, and now Goosby, my loins have been girded enough.

This is about as good an outcome as Texas could have hoped for once Goosby went down. A bone bruise from a hyperextension, with no reported ACL/MCL/meniscus damage, changes this from a potentially season-altering injury into a temporary offensive-line management problem.

TEXAS should invest in the ammortal chamber. Worked for Matt Stafford back last year as well as Denver Broncos having them on site for their players.

Nothing will happen to them. For all the obvious reasons.
