You’re right we have more impressive wins but they went into Fayetteville and didn’t leave a doubt then absolutely dominated what was supposed to be a top defensive unit in OU. When we play and execute we are the best team in to country, but right now we’re not doing that offensively with any consistency and are not playing complementary football like UGA is right now. We undoubtedly have the toughest schedule in the country this year so taking pressure off anywhere is welcomed and we just aren’t playing well enough to be ranked #1 and would like to see that target off our backs. Just my opinion

I decided that in order to not let the stress of our team's play cause me a heart attack, I just have to accept the reality of the situation. Our games will just be as ugly as a Chip Brown hairpiece. Our defense can keep us in most games. Arch can't audible, so he will continue to take a beating each week. Goosby is the only offensive player you can trust.

I definitely agree with this. Prob my favorite overall road trip to date. I had a really great time and the Longhorn contingent that made the trip represented really well throughout the weekend.

It's the little things. Some of our players fail to realize everything is being watched.

We earned #1. Results against good teams matter more than looking good against bad teams. I’m glad people vote on strength of record and not just the eye test. If it was the other way around, the college football season would eventually be full of even more cupcakes and boring games. As a fan with no real stakes in the game, I feel blessed that we have so many big games Sep-Dec. It’s so much more fun (as a non-doomer) to watch multiple huge matchups every month, instead of boring Notre Dame type games. It would be so lame for them if they lose in the first round or two of the cfp because they’re not battle tested at all. We are by far the most battle tested undefeated team right now. That’s why we’re #1 🤘

I agree, but that’s not the point of the poll. It’s a resume based poll, not how good a team has looked. The issue is people thinking it’s the latter

I think this is a fair question. Not sure I’ve seen Arch check out of things very much. But I also don’t know what restrictions he has on him, the gameplan, etc. This is a question Sark or Arch would have to answer (and even if asked, I’m guessing either of them wouldn’t and probably shouldn’t exactly be totally forthcoming).

I’m super excited to finally go to the OU game for the first time. I’m wondering if I should buy tickets now or wait until closer to the game. Been tracking for a while and they’re down from a high of almost $600 to less than $400. I tracked Ohio State tickets and they seemed to hit a low on the Thursday before the game but then shot up. What do y'all think, buy now or hold out? (I noticed prices on the OU side have been plummeting like their team, but I’m going with my 13 year old daughter so sitting with the criminals isn’t an option)
