The NFL is probably most concerned about scheduling with the playoffs expanding so it doesn’t intrude on their rating dominance after the college regular season. Which to be frank is probably part of the reason why the CFP scheduling is so wacky. However, the NFL is going to be too dog because ultimately they have the product that everyone wants to watch. College football because of the limitations on eligibility and talent sailing is just not going to overtake the NFL. I do think however, that there may be more synergy with with NFL both with rules and tv contracts to ensure that revenue is raised for all involved. E.g. the rising tide lifts all boats. I can also see smaller schools going to spring ball to get a share of viewers they wouldn’t otherwise have access to. Wild times for sure. The NFL is not oblivious imo

As a pledge in 1976, the only illegal activity we were asked to do was steal street signs and other things from Aggy Campus to decorate the bonfire. I felt really bad about this, but the head active in my car asked us to sneak into a corps dorm and see what we could get. I came back with a pair of the riding boots the seniors wear that I found sitting in the hall for one of their freshmen to polish. I also came back with a notebook filled with class notes. I'm grateful that my frat anonymously shipped the boots and class notes back to the corps headquarters at Aggy. What seems like fun at the time can later wear on your conscience because you know it's wrong, and you have empathy for the senior corps guy who paid a lot for the boots and for the student who wrote the class notes. I found out I was not called to be a thief.

Texas Soccer- The New Era on the Horizon

Street’s the pick, and it’s not even a debate - the man treated losing like it was a personal insult. He basically rolled into Austin, looked the schedule in the eye, and said, “Nope.” Twenty‑and‑oh. Who does that? That’s not a record, that’s a magic trick. He won a national title, never took an L, and then walked off like, “Alright, y’all can handle the rest.” Street set the bar so high NASA had to track it. 😀

Also, if including coaching staffs, then M and PSU move up, right? 🤘 -
With the Wild, Wild, West scenario that is currently unfolding, to include the possibility of SEC and Big 10 breaking away from anything that is believed or defined today (definition of amateur or professional) - the NFL seems oblivious to it all. TV contracts would seem to be the factor that appoints the rule vs the exception. Seems the NFL better get in the game, before they become the exception and the new rule is defined. Not being aware of the details of the recent court ruling that blurs the line between pro and amateur. It feels similar to the birth of the NFL when the upstart AFL rose to its limelight and todays NFL was born. Much more of a threat than the USFL, or the other wannabe leagues that popped up. Not sure what my point is, but the NFL needs to wake up and realize that just because something is the way it is today, tomorrow is not guaranteed. Football will always be, but maybe structured differently into the 2030's.

I don't buy 291 arrests here. I know things happen and don't percolate up, but that's a big number - we would have heard more noise... maybe if you are including parking tickets and whatnot, but it explicitly states "arrests." Pretty funny, but not buying it. I just ran it through grok and got the following as part of its answer (which was not real numbers): Good to see Ags and Sooners keeping good company... 🤘 -
