  1. Past hour
  2. Why? He has been committed to Oregon for a while. He was likely never coming here.
  3. Dang what a great hire! CDC gets who he wants. All of our head coaches have some affiliation with either winning one or being on a staff that won a Natty. The women teams are killing it.
  4. Agree. I'd give a slot nod to Rodriguez.
  5. I'd give you two hook ems if I could.
  6. It doesn't matter if we had Barry Sanders if we have this type of OL next year. Upgrade that beef.
  7. We do not need them if they don't want to be here.
  8. Disappointing that we would lose the top in state wr to Oregon for 2 straight years. Maybe it’s nil or samples whispering go blaze your own trail but still stings, especially for a legacy. That said I love Bishop in this class as the twitchy fast WR take.
  9. Welp, I guess he wasn’t the “huge recruiting news” Bobby was eluding to last week that never transpired
  10. Some damn good LBs in this group. Agent 0 is the best of all of them in my opinion, just look what his impact was when he was out last week. Whether he wins or not, definitely deserves it in my book!!
  11. Way better game to attend
  12. Baxter was it but he didnt recover all the way. pretty sure we could have gotten Hardy, but we also had a RB coach turnover last year and that could have put a dent in things.
  13. Definitely think the kid from tech takes it home. Though they really play nobody compared to our level of competition.
  14. Today
  15. Do you have a point? Because our current RB room doesn't have a do it all guy.
  16. Cool stuff. Maybe we will too! Point is, a good RB room should have the “do it all” guy or two, and hope it works out, along with role players. Or, should he have 4 or 5 do it all types, coach? Please dazzle us.
  17. Well, that sucks.
  18. Seems he just never felt Texas. Onward.
  19. It should be down toHill and the kid from Tech. If TT played the same level of comp as Texas i think Hill walks away with it, but if your looking at plain stats its hard to argue.
  20. Missouri did, Ohio St did(multipe times), Michigan did, Ole Miss did, Miami did, Georgia did, South Carolina did, among others. But continue to talk and provide no insight into the post. You post as if these kinds of backs aren't there every portal cycle
  21. If Klein moves on, Aggies might go for him. It’s a thought. They can afford him.
  22. Kentucky was one of the two losses that Texas had in the regular season. That was during a time that Texas blocked very poorly and promptly was swept by Kentucky. The wildcats have a dynamic 1-2 punch at OH, however they lack the balance of having a potent attacker on the opposite side (reminiscent of earlier Texas teams). They are elite for sure though and are one of the top 4 teams in the nation. Most likely, it will either be Texas 2 overall and Kentucky 3 overall, or vice versa for the main tournament seeding. Kentucky took Nebraska to 5 sets and actually had a 2-0 set lead when Nebraska pulled off the reverse sweep early in the season. All in all, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Texas with Skinner graduating but they're also one of the top 4 teams with 3-4 key contributors being freshman. Throw in that the incoming recruiting class for next year is the #1 class in the country with the top recruit at their respective positions (OH, setter, and libero) and the future looks very bright.
  23. I am not sure of the "why" of this thread. But, in my evaluation of the Chipper, he is what he is. Or, beware of what you ask for.
  24. even if we lose the sec championship to Kentucky? Didn't they beat us in the regular season? i'm hoping we do get hot.
