1, Go horns go 2. Make'em eat shxt 3. OU sucks I've personally graduated from make'em eat shxt as an undergrad to now go horns go. More and more, I hear OU sucks, which I find confusing as hell. We laugh at Aggies/Sooners do the horns down when they aren't playing us. Us doing "OU sucks" when we aren't playing them is the same level of obsession/idiocy. What am I missing?

This 😂 don't care about Sanchez or Riley. We don't see them again unless we're matched up in the playoffs.

Texas' OL Phenomenal Pass Protection
Hookem722 replied to chefbeezy's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I don't put any stock at all into PFF grades. Especially if they have bad run blocking grades from that Ohio State game, because that is not at all what the all 22 shows. If you take away the 2 Arch sacks, which I do because I don't put those on the offensive line, and the Wingo reverse, which is also not on the offensive line IMO, then they ran the ball for right under 170 yards. -

they had that graphic of all the texas kids on OSU when we were down. I also was miffed when they were talking about getting their freshman playing time when they were up by so much. made it that much sweeter when we came back!

OTF Premium OTF Forum pick 'em winner from Ohio State game
Kyle Miller replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
For anyone interested in the full board, a couple highlights: Rod Babers had the closest prediction of OTF's official picks, 27-23, off by 3. 8 OTF fans were off by 3 or better, tying or beating Rod. -
I was impressed with OSU's freshman DE who played the 0/1 technique on passing downs. He gave Roberson fits on all five of his 5 snaps at NT. I think his name was Wilder, and he wore #34. His quickness and strength inside reminded me of our DT from a few years ago, who now stars for the Super Bowl Champs, the Seattle Seahawks.

Trevor Goosby named Outland Trophy Player of the Week
tommym replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Exactly, I thought a lot of people think flood sucks. But, it seems one outland trophy possibly another might say different. The offensive line Texas has now, if continue might be the best in school history. I know very lofty. -

Expect nothing less from a Friday night in Austin. That's what makes this first SEC clash so fun. Looking forward to a physical 90 minutes. -
I don't know if it was already mentioned but I found some crazy stats regarding our OL currently through two games on PFF. One being that a Dylan Sikorski is currently rated #2 in the entire country for his pass blocking grade. Goosby follows shortly after at #16. The other being that the Texas OL is rated #1 in the entire country, cumulatively, for pass blocking so far. Sikorski was a consensus three star portal prospect, ranking anywhere from the 50s to the 100s at IOL and anywhere from the 500s to the 1000s overall. Seems to be an actual snipe of a target and even better that he has two years (I believe) of eligibility left, although if he keeps playing like this we might struggle to keep him from the draft funnily enough. Our run blocking, no surprise, is significantly worse. But, we could all see it do far better in the second half against OSU. Jordan Coleman is rated the best run blocker on our OL currently (although he so far has the worst pass blocking grade by a significant margin). However, we can all tell that Jordan is a dog and I'm very excited about his future. Regardless, an extreme turn around for our OL. It seems like throwing the kitchen sink at portal targets over the off season has helped us a lot and might need to be more of a norm moving forward. That was also spurned by a large crop failure of OL recruits beforehand, and we have a lot to look forward to past Jordan in Jackson Christian, John Turntine and now Ismael Camara. Yet, a steady dose of deeper OL portal targets cannot hurt (considering that high level OL seems to be the hardest to get out of the portal and with mixed results).
