  1. Past hour
  2. I had to call my parents to make sure they were still alive. That fourth quarter had them screaming so loud their cat jumped in the air and ran into the bedroom.
  3. We don't need to be giving clicks and engagement to rag trash. We're just giving them SEO, and I would rather we not do that.
  4. They aren’t there to tell the story, they are there to generate interest in their stories.
  5. Is it a similar scenario to Venables where Kelly has to finish the regular season 8-4 to keep his job? After this bye week, Kelly has to go to Bama, play at home against Arkansas and WKU (LOL) before finishing at OU. Not sure they win any of those games besides WKU.
  6. This is the guy who wanted to cancel football bc of covid
  7. Thanks. I was looking for this and couldn’t find it. This is going to be wild and entertaining.
  8. He was talking about Texas fans being miserable. He’s out of touch. If any Texas fans were miserable last night, I didn’t hear from a single one of them and we had 4K people on the Post-Game show.
  9. Coached by the same guy that found Cam ward... SARK LET'S GET ERIC MORRIS ON A PLANE TO AUSTIN!
  10. Most likely. But every fan base has its bed wetters. Some may even be disappointed we did come back.
  11. I'm just bringing back this post from August.. Mestemaker is having a heck of a year.. could be the multi million dollar transfer to one of the big boys next year, especially with the coaching changes that are coming. zero star without high school starts to this. https://saturdayblitz.com/north-texas-qb-drew-mestemaker-emerges-as-a-star-with-record-shattering-performance
  12. I wonder if OU feels the need to get in the coaching sweepstakes like Penn St, Fla, Fla St and LSU.
  13. There are many adjectives I would use to describe the psyche of Texas fans after yesterday’s comeback victory. Elated? Excited? Thrilled? “Miserable” is not one of them. I’m guessing he had most of this written before the Texas comeback and just wanted to crap on Texas regardless. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/breaking-news/article/misery-index-steve-sarkisians-mess-in-texas-isnt-the-longhorns-only-problem-040139999.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly90LmNvLw&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAALYY2yi36daXMVb9VBxIjJ7PIjE_92Tpt21TXon5XndIvkEvQIqphUdCw3DUMi7Bj3QjaLtUkGvLeTeu5wDjHRxceOSdhisfQQxgyRIWW1axa5RrQ3vH50uemzxcXKiwfApWdI7eBtpqupKxHVAzTVcWHyL2VaM6nJU095rjllQs
  14. How’s that vindication tour going, sport?
  15. Today
  16. Plus with the signing days and the portal window now, you need to get ahead of the curve with your hire.
  17. Buddy has been scrambling trying to find that delete button all night 😂😂
  18. This is my problem, because he would do similar with Ewers and it worked really well. Maybe his scheme isn't that great or doesn't work for this team? Whatever it is, he needs to do more of that type of stuff and help this team.
  19. I hope you aren’t this premature with the ladies.
  20. Speaks well to the future of the DL. I'm kinda excited to see what the DL guys look like next year Charles, Sharma and J.Terry. Paired with January, Watson and possibly Johnson if he sticks around.
  21. Let’s not forget that this young team just went on the road. In the SEC. For a month. Won 3 of 4 against teams that were good but beatable. Sure, we all wanted to see us win 4 and looking like a seasoned team doing it. But, they won 3 of 4. That’s a tough stretch for any team. Doesn’t excuse their big problems on offense, but there’s a difficulty factor that makes this survive and advance impressive.
  22. Odd that the same staff who were sooooooo neglectful and in such need of therapy for three quarters coached these guys in the fourth quarter and OT.
  23. Kyshawn George is a possible “out of nowhere” stud. Him and Tre could be a really solid foundation.
  24. My guess is with the new NIL era and the amount of dollars getting thrown around these coaches leashes are about to get a lot shorter than they use to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this sort of turnover on an annual basis.
  25. I think that’s part of what sark just needs to do is not really script. He’s renowned for having a longer script than most. Just limit it to 10-15 plays and react to what your seeing, it makes him so much more effective. Doing that mixed with spreading the offense out makes it easier for everyone to get a read on the defense and even easier when we add the motions.
  26. The problem is that you can’t really draw up or script what Arch does in those moments. I agree with you that that is when this offense is their best but I don’t know how you recreate it on paper and call it i do think that sark can draw up plays that move the pocket more. Arch seems to like to throw on the move and this OL does a decent job of moving the pocket
