Doesn’t love basketball… loves what it can provide from an entrepreneur standpoint… and that’s okay! -

The QB Strategy Next Year and beyond

If Arch goes, KJ Lacey is going to do fine, kind of like Bryce Young did as a sophomore at Alabama after Mac Jones left. -
His replacement

mmmmm yummy AI slop

Anyone heard this before?

I agree.

If not Sark's decision who would be making it?

Doubtful.

Texas is favored for a reason. This should be the second easiest game we have left.

Played 3 snaps. Might be dealing with some effects from the knee injury earlier in the season. What I saw from Masunas was the best run blocking of the season from a Texas TE. Townsend has elite physicality, but physicality and blocking skills are different things.

Did he get any snaps against Ole MS last Saturday. Is he in the doghouse? I thought he was an elite blocker.

Doesn't matter if the message board overlooks an opponent

Successful surgery for Trevor Goosby

Had a convo yesterday with someone in the know, said they would bet a paycheck Goosby ends up going pro. -

If he can't work out, he's going to return. The decision to turn pro even as a late-1st early 2nd, when a healthy season would mean a big jump up the board. He only has 22 starts, that's not a lot of tape and he could make enough from NIL to make his return worth his while. -
I'd rather save the money on a transfer QB and spend it on the OL or some skill position players

The QB Strategy Next Year and beyond

You have to be all-in or all-out on portal QBs. It would be pretty stupid if we invested a pretty penny for multiple developmental years of KJ Lacey and Dia Bell, only to just bring in another high priced transfer whenever it was time for them to finally play. I’m not going to take the time to look it up but I’m gonna guess Miami and Indiana have basically quit recruiting notable HS QBs. -
As of last Saturday, I am still “very cautiously” optimistic for this year. Texas is a little down, but not out.

He’s going to create a problem for Jerry. Jerry seems to hate drafting Longhorns BUT he can’t help drafting OL. -

There is a side of me that thinks that Sark would like to be joined at the hip with Arch. No, this season has not gone as planned for either one of them. So, Sark says for Arch to come back and lets try it again and reload. Then, for whatever reason and certainly the hope would be that Arch does light it up next year and they find success together as a pair. Then they can shop that success to an NFL Team and go together to do it on Sundays. -

Big fan of the dynasty. Great post season battles. Like Texas/USC in the Rose Bowl. -

He’s still deciding but he should go. -
I see how it came across that way, but I did not mean to imply that it is a clean and easy process. More of like a risk reduction or better yet, playing the odds of a proven QB on the field.
