  2. Access isn’t destiny. Most guys don’t light the match
  3. Going to the NFL wouldn’t have buried anything - it just would’ve shifted the autopsy to a different table. The league’s investigators don’t stop at the NCAA file; they go through trainers, compliance, teammates, and anyone who ever shared a hallway with him. Declaring early doesn’t erase the evidence, it just tells every front office he’s hoping they won’t look. And they always look. The facts were never avoidable - only the illusion that he could outrun them.”
  4. This is significant. Sorsby clearly tried to evade surveillance. Either from law enforcement or the NCAA. This shows that he understood what he was doing was wrong but went out of his way to do it anyway and try to hide his violations. Also sending large amounts of money to friends and family solely for the purpose of violating laws and evading law enforcement (if that’s what he was doing) could be a significant federal financial crime.
  5. And when I hear that it makes me sick…
  6. Community college. Is it a coincidence that Cody Campbell and community college both have the same initials?
  7. The college game is in shambles off the field right now. If Sorby is allowed to play, it will just further open the gates of the wild wild west.
  8. When does James Blanchard, the tech GM start catching some heat? The guy obviously ignored everything or simply didn’t do his job?
  9. Stanford has the fastest varsity 4 boat by a few seconds.
  10. One of the things that judges will have to deal with in granting an injunction is the balance between protecting someone’s right (to play college football here) versus the harm to the public interest (reputation of the sport). There is no way a judge SHOULD grant this young man an injunction. It was probably a bad idea to seek one as well as it has now revealed the extent of his problems and likely opened him up to criminal liability. Will be interesting to see the positions his lawyers take publicly given their ethical responsibilities to the court and duty of candor.
  11. At what cost? There more to life than a little bit of money.
  12. This is a sad example of how money corrupts good men. If this were another player not being paid 6 million dollars it wouldn’t even be a conversation he’s gone, no brainer.
  13. Lol, get to work @Bunk Moreland
  14. @Bunk Moreland this could be a great creation
