  1. Past hour
  2. I believe the WNBA is going to self implode soon anyways.
  3. I tried searching his name in the IT app but you can’t. Do you remember what his handle was?
  4. Good grief. It's over, move on. Hope that we have something good to worry about next year.
  5. Not the same caught but Bussy is a hell of a player.
  6. There are easy choices then it gets much harder. any lust without Casey Hampton in the top 10 is wrong. Dominated the game
  7. Ya let’s be honest OTF does the same. And it’s fine! It’s part of the game.
  8. Today
  9. That was unexpectedly difficult given we had at least ten very dark years in the modern era of Texas football. This is what I settled on. 1. VY (no debate) 2. Ricky 3. Colt (insane accuracy) 4. Ced Benson (absolute workhorse) 5. DJ 6. Casey Hampton (what a force on the DL) 7. Earl Thomas 8. Quentin Jammer 9. Orakpo 10. Michael Huff
  10. Guys you're supposed to use the link in the first post but some good lists either way.
  11. VY Ricky DJ Colt Orakpo Earl Thomas Huff Casey Hampton Bijan Quentin Jammer It hurt my soul to exclude Ship, Roy, Ced B, etc
  12. 92 seems like a good year to start the so called modern era as it was the year Mackovic became the HC who unlike Akers and McWilliams had no ties to DKR
  13. Ricky VY Colt Casey Roy Derrick Cedric Aaron R Jordan Roy Miller
  14. On my form I think it was different pretty sure I had Cedric benson instead of Quentin Jammer Also had Shipley . So many players. Also I didn’t start watching until 2000/2001
  15. VY Ricky Colt TSweat Casey Hampton Michael Huff Derick Johnson Quentin Jammer Roy Williams Bijan
  16. I believe EVERYONE including myself had much higher aspirations for last season. The reality is our Oline was not good, but that was far from the only issue. Penalties on both sides of the ball plus ST. Not causing turnovers or allowing first downs in crucial spots. Dropped balls by the wrs. More MEs than you can shake s stick at. The bottom line is the first half of the season was atrocious but the second half of the season showed some of the potential. Point is it was not just a Flood issue. It was a HC issue...it was a PK issue...It was a Banks issue...It was a leadership issue from the players with a C on their chest...It was an across the board problem. The first half of the season Texas looked worse than a modern art masterpiece. There was a lot of growth tho and that should give us all hope for what the upcoming season could and should be.
  17. Big Nellie will be missed, a great coach and an even better man. He changed the direction of the franchise. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and Mavs nation.
  18. Before I was born, but I remember seeing this shot over and over as a Lakers fan growing up when I was an adolescent in the 80s. This was constantly replayed until the Lakers beat the Celtics in 1985. Of course, Cuban being the kind of guy he is stuck to Nelson.
  19. Anybody else remember this Don Nelson shot from the 1969 Finals? If so you must be old too. Celts vs Lakers (featuring Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West). 1:33 to go in Game 7, 1 point game, his desperation shot hits the back of the rim and bounces above the backboard and then drops in without touching the rim. Celts won by 2. This was the era of dynasties - Celts in the NBA, UCLA in men's basketball, Yankees, Packers (sorta). I was so tired of watching the Celts win every year (Bill Russell won 11 NBA championships in 13 seasons + 2 championships in college). I was rooting hard for Jerry West but the Celtics kept pulling stuff like this. West had a 53 point game in that series and averaged 38 but it wasn't quite enough. This is how I remember Don Nelson, long before he became a coach.
  20. There's always a spot for you in the wnba 😂
  21. 1. VY 2. Colt 3. Ricky 4. Shipley 5. DJ 6. Roy 7. Bijan 8. Benson 9. Thomas 10. Jamaal Honorable Mention: - Casey Hampton - Vasher - Huff - Aaron Ross - Orakpo - Diggs - Vaccaro - Ehlinger - Worthy - Quinn - Sweat - Banks - Barron Collin could get there this year potentially. Or Arch if he is is heisman level.
