  1. Past hour
  2. I mean come on I’m dumb but I don’t live under a rock
  3. Thanks Blake! I’m not too concerned with where the Horns are ranked at this point. They have a great team no doubt but there’s still things that need to be worked on like getting Mendoza’s bat back on track, somehow figure out when A Rod can sit a series and give his hand a break, and most importantly get the back end of the pen on track. Moving Volantis to a starter role created a hole in the back end of the pen that hasn’t been filled yet.
  4. How was that an insult just calling it what it is you do it all the time. So either you live under a rock or just like to make threads to make them. I didn’t mean to offend you just calling a spade a spade
  5. What's your issue dude? I am genuinely curious about that. No need to insult.
  6. You must live under a rock or just like to make threads to make them
  7. ...if so, what if that player is now part of the media? Or is the law of Omerta (look it up) in place? Rod, Marcus, Stevie, BRob...what say you?
  8. He looks like a right tackle .
  9. Nope. If you think this team was a contender without all the portal adds I really don't know what to tell you. We picked up at least 6-7 starters from the portal.
  10. Can you imagine what the owners make annually?
  11. Dawn Staley's team is putting a spanking on USC, yet they interview her at halftime, and just like Coach Vic, you would think they were down by 20. Great coaches are never satisfied!
  12. Today
  13. So from contender to team to beat. Got it.
  14. Kobe Bryant is often cited as the only player with a winning playoff record against Tim Duncan, having achieved an 18–12 record in postseason games against him. Throughout their careers, the two legends met in six different playoff series between 1999 and 2008, with Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers winning four of those matchups and Duncan's San Antonio Spurs winning two.
  15. Yesterday
  16. A lot of it had to do with the environment and lack of experience (freshman). Burns is and has been that way even going back to when he was at Arizona State. I don’t think he can be fixed. The others should learn and grow. I’m not expecting this to happen in one week though. I completely expect more struggles this weekend with another really good team in OU.
  17. This team is better because of the portal. Much better.
  18. Kentucky vs Texas in the WBB Sweet Sixteen on Saturday
  19. These blowouts are next level on the women's bracket
  20. Yeah, don't do that. Not me!! That was the worst day of my life (jk). 😜 🤘
  21. Assuming everything plays out as it should, UConn having to play South Carolina a few days before a potential matchup with Texas in the national title game is huge assuming the winner of that game is tired going into the championship game.
  22. Bear with me on my Mack story. Summer before my senior year (2004), I went to the one day camp in June. Of course, I hadn't been working out since school ended and paid for it lol. We did 40 yard sprints in DKR in the mid morning heat and I was wanting to throw up something fierce lol. As I'm bent over fighting the urge, I feel someone put their hand on my back and ask if I'm okay. I hear the voice and freeze up. It's Mack. Suddenly I'm blabbering out apologies for almost throwing up, not being brtter prepared, whatever. He interrupts me and takes me to the trainers to get hydrated. To say I'm embarassed is a huge understatement. We break for lunch and go to the bubble for position drills w the coaches (loved being coached by Bruce Chambers for a day) followed by routes on air and 1 on 1s w the qbs, running backs, and receivers vs the linebackers and secondary. At the end of the camp, us and our parents get to talk to fhe coaches and of course Mack sees me and asks me if I'm feeling better after earlier, and yeah, he does make you feel like you're fhe most important person at that time. I got to introduce him to my dad, who was probably as star struck as I was earlier that day lol. But it was a great day, one that I treasure as a lifelong Longhorn fan.
  23. I agree with a lot of what was said above. A couple of other things that helped me. You will go through the 5 stages grief - just be prepared for those feelings (therapy or a book can be of benefit). I chose therapy after a close friend’s suggestion; she gave me some great tools. One of the best was when I couldn’t stop thinking about it, she told me to just get up and do anything (drink of water, snack, restroom, walk outside - anything) - to break my train of thought - it worked wonders. Journaling can also help you work through your thoughts and emotions - I don’t like journaling, but it did help during that time. It sounds crazy, but writing things down can manifest them (there is science behind it). I was devastated & blindsided also, but it turned out to be blessing!
  24. I’m sorry this is happening. I’ll share a mistake my sister made when she got divorced 11 years ago. Their son was 10 at the time. During the divorce process her soon to be ex made what seemed to her sincere promises about sharing the financial aspect as their son grew into teenage years. She took him at his word & didn’t address things in writing in the divorce decree. When the kid reached high school the ex reneged on all those financial promises. It was a mess. She admitted later she wished she had been insistent on putting everything into the decree. So, be careful, get a really good attorney. Hoping for brighter days to come your way.
