  1. Past hour
  2. Snakes can find their way into some crazy places. Even on a hook I could see a snake getting there. Glad my helmet wearing days are long past.
  3. Does anyone think Gerry could have been a snake charmer in another life? 😉
  4. This is awesome - too many to choose....
  5. Today
  6. No. 24 has been worn by some outstanding Longhorns over the years. Tommy Ford was an All-American and co-captain of Texas’ 1963 national championship team. Raymond Clayborn earned All-America honors, was a two-time All-SWC selection and Texas’ team MVP in 1976. A.J. “Jam” Jones piled up 2,874 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns while leading Texas in rushing four straight seasons. And more recently, Jonathon Brooks rushed for 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns in his breakout 2023 season. Also worth mentioning: 1969 national champion and co-captain Ted Koy, along with Joe Bergeron, who scored 25 career rushing touchdowns. And the current No. 24 for Texas: defensive back Warren Roberson. Who was the best to wear it?
  7. Sent this to a buddy of mine who is an AD. He said it must’ve been a receiver if he didn’t realize it was in his helmet…. Because they don’t hit 😂
  8. Triple threat match Joe Z vs Blake vs Joe Z's father. Kayfabe we all thought Gerry was the father and it was actually Bobby Burton. Joe was a Longhorn all along.
  9. 👀🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼
  10. Blake vs Joe Z is like paddy vs bsd
  11. That is what I was asking myself. I bet procedures change. Is it legal to keep mongoose in the equipment room?
  12. Casey Hampton, D'Onta Foreman and Dan Neil have one thing in common. They had to be pretty damn good to play under the dark coaching days of Texas and still make the list. I opted not to include Ricky because Mack was at the helm when he broke out and won the Heisman. The one guy that comes to mind when talking dark days of coaching is Britt Hager, yes prior to 1992, but nonetheless, he jumps out instantly in my brain.
  13. Quinn also had an expiration date at Texas. He could have been better than Carson beck for a nice payday. Instead he went late. It meant something to him. Quinn is a special dude.
  14. Sounds like some confusion. The Big Ticket gets access to tickets and was available at least in June. The Longhorn Foundation piece gets priority access. The foundation piece opened today. Basically reiterating your statements.
  15. Where did the guys have Ehlinger? Seems like an NFL list a bit. I know Bobby hates Tebow. Tebow is one of the best winners of all time had a lot of Bobby Layne and James Street to him.
  16. My post should have it was not a lack of physical talent rather than it was. He’s not top 25. But undefeated versus OU always worth a mention.
  17. I understand and agree students need taken care of, but the big ticket package has been available for weeks, there’s no reason she shouldn’t have been able to get one.
  18. What's funny, if they hadn't let in James Madison and Tulane last year into the playoffs and instead put Notre Dame and Texas in, I'm pretty sure we would've played Oregon @ their place lol. Joe Z would've been quacking his ass off.
  19. My problem is that the NCAA could've done a better job of getting out in front of this stuff before it became the focal point of college football. Instead like usual they sat on their hands and didn't do anything which caused the free for all we pretty much see today. I'm fine with kids getting paid, that doesn't bother me. I just think the amounts are absurd. But good for the kids. Thanks for posting, Blake.
