The Texas running back was actively participating in practice Thursday morning, On Texas Football was told. Keep in mind, Texas was not in full pads today. But Smothers did participate in practice. We will see what the injury report says Thursday evening, but overall a positive for the Longhorns’ lead back.

They have quite a bit of bigs in the under 16 age group. The country has finally developed a formal system, government funded, to develop athletes in major and minor sports. You see the results in soccer, flag football, and basketball, boxing, etc. My cousin, Chito Reyes, was a small forward on the NMSU Aggies in the early 70's. They were a Final Four team. We love hoops. I am a huge fan of women hoops.
