  1. Past hour
  2. I haven’t been impressed with Flood since he came to Texas. He’s really only had one or two good seasons in my eyes and has never been good at developing the interior OL. I think I could make a whole video about the failures of the line from a technical and physical standpoint and it’s year 6! bad footwork, bad technique, slow get offs, weak and just bad all around.
  3. Hutson was bad at center last year. Couldn’t play him there. There is no real solution to being weak in IOL this year. Have to try to mask it with scheme.
  4. 1. This is 💯 the responsibility of Sark as he controls scheme and personnel. However, I don’t think the blame is on Sark, the players need to do their job. Give me 50% OL, 35% Arch, and 15% play calling. We can’t run the ball. That is on the OL. Arch is running for his life at times - that is mostly an OL issue. Now with Arch - he is not seeing the field well and holding the ball too long. He is not confident right now and is not content taking small profits like the FL QB was willing to do. Play calling needs to help more but the best play call won’t work if you can’t block and can’t find the open guy. 2. No way Sark straight up benches Arch. If he is going to give KJ some run we are going to have a mystery injury to Arch. 3. I think we need to try Hutson at center and Seymour at LG and see what happens. Let’s go under center and run down hill with Qb boots and waggles. 4. I hear everyone calling for more Bishop and 5 wide. The issue is when you have a QB who is not reading the field well, adding more options and things to read can it more complicated to find the right WR unless you only read half the field. 5. This is definitely a cluster $&@# and not what any of us saw coming. Can Sark right the ship? TBD.
  5. Since everyone here is freaking out right now—and in some cases, rightly so—I’m going to take it up a notch and predict KJ Lacey’s stats against Ole Miss. My prediction: 21/27, 314 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT We’ll win: 34-27 I don’t know why, but I’m really confident he can turn the offense around. We’ve all heard it all year long: when he was the quarterback, the ball moved, and in every game he’s actually been allowed to play so far, that’s been the case. Gerry has always said that he plays the quarterback position just like a point guard, and a game manager is exactly what we need right now. It won’t be perfect, but he’s always had something to prove, and this Saturday he’ll have his chance. Hook ’Em 🤘
  6. It wasn’t the right time or worded question. Sark said vague but meant general/broad and there was zero angry tone or inflection. Y’all have got to stop betching about press conference responses. Nothing said will impact Saturday’s. He also answers the questions honestly. Yall just don’t like the responses. Prior to Saturday, it was I’m not making changes. We have things to clean up. We are close. Still stubbornly optimistic they’d turn the corner. This recent one, every thing needs to be evaluated. You could see it was different. Now, if today we hear how the tape wasn’t as bad, we’re close, and it’s overtly downplayed, our season’s most likely done. He knows there’s no positive to benching manning. We can all pretend that it’s just an x/o decision but it’s much broader. I understand why he’s held out even if I disagree.
  7. Perfect, a coach who can’t seem to coach.
  8. The reasons for Lacey are thus: Sark's inefficiency in play calling has caused hesitancy and confusion in his QB and also in the OL; confidence is at an all time low. Changing to Lacey forces Sark to simplify the offensive scheme, and they would function well, gaining confidence through the first half. It would spread like a virus.
  9. I thought the problem was he isn’t changing people.
  10. Today
  11. Jeff how many sacks, pressures, contact behind the line and tfl have we had since flood has been there and it compared to other oline coaches?
  12. Jeff, I seem to recall about this time last year AJ moving to the box to help out. Is that still the case or is he on the field?
  13. Quarterback change should be a last resort, but we've reached that point. The question - on the aforementioned zone read did Arch have the option to pull it? If not, what the hell is Sark doing? Of course we also need "true" RPOs. Are they even in the playback? Time to see what KJ can do. It may even boost the offensive line.
  14. Ive been wrong w every forcast- prediction … sounds about right bout me n Texas commentary!
  15. Well wherever he is, I miss talking to him. He was also fun to chat with in the DM's and he was right about what he said.
  16. Some say he may be under a different username now tho 👀
  17. Okay to be fair, Florida didn't change QB's, the starter got hurt.
  18. Ah damn, I thought I saw he got unbanned.
  19. He’s washed. Not a chance.
  20. Well I put it on Sark, you recruited him, you've "developed" him and you put this offensive talent together, including the OL. So we can pass the buck all we want but he's the guy who has to take responsibility. Why is your 4th year QB in his 2nd year starting regressing every year? If he's no good, bench him. Just know it'll be a serious blow to your QB credentials though and everyone will talk about how you completely destroyed a Manning's development. It will look even worse if he goes elsewhere and balls out in his final year. Either way, he needs to make a decision because his future is riding on it. He also has some tough off-season decisions to make on his coaching staff and support staff. That's assuming the wheel's don't fall off and we're looking for a new head guy.
  21. You're not doing any of this mid season. Who on the staff is good enough to call plays? Change the identity of the Offense to what? Because we can't even figure out what the current identity is. Changing the QB is plausible, but what happens when it looks like more of the same without the script?
  22. The only one who did seems to be Kirby Smart, imo.
