Exactly. Georgia couldn't run against Ole Miss, Notre Dame and Kentucky. Ohio State couldn't run against, Michigan, Nebraska, and had real trouble against Penn State. Again, the list is long and distinguished.

You mean against the most talented and accomplished teams. Yes, it happens.

Good one. Love SEC Shorts.

Those "some games" and "some times" are the biggest and most crucial times, it's insane that yall try to diminish it. I guarantee you every mod on this site agree with those of use who say we don't consistently run the ball well in red zone or short yardage vs elite teams we play. It's just a fact.

The weltschmerz from our fanbase and media about the run game is amusing. Had one the best rushing teams in the SEC last year, but all we hear is we can't run. We had trouble running the ball in some games and some situations. So did everyone else. Georgia had its worst run offense and run defense in years last season. The list goes on. To this point, Arch running in the redzone looks promising. Long way to go, but the handwringing and complaining are tiresome to say the least.

Watch these two videos and notice the interior push of Ohio St vs our interior push vs them. It shows everything that is a problem and has been a problem for our line in short yardage and goal line situations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1N-UY2jLRQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rr_1WTqEd0 Here is a classic Hayden Conner moment and he had plenty of these: Hint - It's never good to be facing toward your running backs at the goal line. Here is Stroh who took out 2 other linemen because he's so unathletic he trips over himself all the time

Here for the Wins replied to Burt Reynolds Jr's topic in On Texas Football Forum
And we’ve largely whipped our opponents short yardage efforts too for the last handful of years so where are their dominating road graders? Goalline and short yardage is about numbers. There is no one to block a Ransom or Downs. The play caller has to account for those dudes. We have added some QB run to the mix. That’s already helped. This belief that defenses get moved off the line is a fallacy. In the 8 game regular season SEC slate last year, we led the conference in yards per carry with no help from the Qb and backs generally perceived to get what was blocked. No team, in the theoretical best conference, is moving teams off the line consistently. You gave no examples on these dominating offensive fronts. We clearly value pass protection. Our tight ends are generally better pass catchers than blockers. Until proven otherwise that’s where our priority lies. I understand that’s a problem for you. -
I was up in fort worth for a game two weeks ago ended up at a place called The Truck Yard. They had a seating section upstairs with about ten TVs all different games on and I sat with a few other Longhorns fans that were up there for a rangers game. They have good beer and a bunch of food options downstairs. Probably not the answer you're looking for but it was a cool place to have a few cold ones and watch the games.

My 3 game balls go to Arch, McDonald and Wingo. Jelani has been ridiculous so far. Looking like an AA.
