Texas Baseball Begins Reconstructing Batter’s Eye
CJ Vogel replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Wanted to add some notes to this – The new batter's eye wall will be 32 feet tall, a 4-foot increase from the old batter's eye. Construction, obviously is expected to be completed before the beginning of the season. Texas is putting in new 50-foot tall foul poles as well. Also, Texas is set to install a brand new fan section in right field similar to the YETI Yard in left-centerfield. Should have some new details on that soon. -
It's safe to say that Texas broke them. Your welcome Miami fans, hope the wire transfer goes through soon. 🤣🤣

I hope they keep the door to the press room closed. Porky might have a cardiac episode.

He better wait for the Miami fans to stop celebrating so he doesn’t have to hear all the noise.

@Bobby Burton won’t be able to show his face in Norman or College Station after his reverse jinx picks on Friday. -

Their insufferable behavior ends quickly! -
they are the flagship program in the state of Texas still, right?
-
I wonder if they’ll run a “professional press conference” after the game. Maybe even with the door closed.

Mike Elko looks like he shat himself. Cornbread stolen.

on being the first college football playoffs teams to lose at home. Congratulations. (I'm sure aggies will argue that they are the best team to ever lose a home playoff game and give themselves yet another trophy)

Panini is releasing a 200-card University of Texas set
Jeff Howe replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
That's awesome, Ryan! The hobby is a great thing! It's been a part of my life, off and on, my whole life. I've still got my Emmitt Smith and Michael Jordan cards from when I was a kid. They're not worth anything, but they're priceless to me. -
He is who we needed to bring us back to elite! He did an amazing job and wish him well wherever he ends up..u less he goes to aggies, then he's dead to me. I think we just got all wlthe juice we could out of pk and we need more. But he will go down as one of the best dcs in texas history!

Absolutely agree, I’m a PK fan. While I love the Muschamp hire I agree that PK has done a masterful job here both with the defense and player development. I’m going to be following him and wishing him future success unless he’s playing Texas. We absolutely don’t go as far as fast without him and his willingness to learn and adapt. Honestly I can’t think of many games after 2021 where I said the defense cost us the game. Even Florida, it wasn’t the best gameplan or performance in the first half ultimately our o line issues and inability to run the ball and protect Arch is what lost us the game IMO. Thank you for posting this and well wishes PK!!

Tom Brady took pay cuts all the time, but didn’t hurt when he was married to Gisele.

Seems to me the only reason Texas should play big non-conference games is if they received special revenue for it. I never understood a conference getting member media rights for non-conf games. Let each school make their own deals for those games. That way schools could have a reason to schedule big games. Why should Vandy or South Carolina or Arkansas, for instance, benefit from Texas playing Buckeyes or Wolverines or Irish or Trojans or Nittany Lions?
