Burns has been up and down all year. We need him and that means taking the good with the bad. He didn’t cost us a win last night and can still help us win another game or 2 this year.

Thats understood, but that’s exactly what he’s in to do. He’s in to throw it by them with bases loaded under 2 outs. They’ve worked with him the entire year. He’s only needed for 2/3 outs. I think the staff knows it’s in him. If he has to dial it back to 94 fine, but his game isn’t bending spin. I’d like to see him succeed here, not a lot of 96/99 arms floating around.

He is arguably the reason we won the UCSB game.

His delivery is so violent he's never going to have control throwing 97. You have to be a special type of athlete to throw 97 in the zone with a repeatable delivery.

Then there was this guy from Tuscon, Robinson. Shermar Stewart was the 5 ⭐ DL prize everyone wanted. Byron Murphy was considered the consolation prize that fell to Texas. Oscar Giles was the primary DL Coach for all the DL who went to the NFL since Dark took over. All from my not in the know fan perspective.
