  1. Past hour
  2. Too many recruiting whiffs on the offensive line and Defensive tackle
  3. We need a front office that can play moneyball. we blew our NIL budget on retaining a bunch of guys that had proven nothing, and it turns out they aren't great.
  4. I’m generally more upbeat about the season prospects than most on here making themselves miserable. But…. Just odd we run a guy at LG that really hasn’t been playing there. Niblett seemingly got a fair amount of time early. If we were going to do that, maybe run it a bit more leading up to this game. Again, I’d sssume a fair amount of practice time was allocated here. Not the best use of time. Our short yardage O was 1-2 attempts. How about that. I am not overly concerned about the D. That wasn’t the UF team that anyone else faced. UTEP and SHSU offenses were not discussed much. They are poor then throw in an off and our early game tackling was poor. Obviously Manny being out didn’t help.
  5. The fact that the offensive line isn’t rolling at this point is pretty alarming. Flood has had 5 years, an incredible budget, and plenty of time and staff to work with these guys and develop them. There’s no excuse for us to have a bottom 2-3 OLine in the SEC. I know Sark and Flood are tight but Sark can’t let friendship cloud his judgement. I’m not a “Fire the coach!” guy but this one is getting to the point of being obvious. I’m ok giving Flood a soft landing in management if that helps.
  6. Do you think the guys was kind of overlooking Florida thinking ahead of the Oklahoma game.
  7. Great game guys, and wishing Parker Livingstone a speedy recovery, he’s a beast
  8. Exactly what I’d do, play a 2-3 deep shell, make us try to run it. 15 freaking yards guys
  9. From here on out we will see two or three deep and every team thinking they can stop the run and whip our offensive line and if we can’t run the ball we are in for some long days.
  10. We suck worse than the criminals last year. They didn't lose to a team with a losing record.
  11. Sark the offensive playcaller too but that’s why he was hired they keep saying so that won’t happen
  12. Ryan day showed mercy. That’s the only reason we were close to Ohio st.
  13. Sark needs to evaluate his own staff. There’s about 3 assistant coaches that shouldn’t be on the coaching staff next year. But continuity is oh so important 😵‍💫
  14. Close to Ohio State. Weren't close to a bad Florida team five weeks later. Losers literally dominated us.
  15. That’s neat, all the big time schools role that stuff. They can block, run, and tackle though. Our staff needs to do a complete re-evaluation of our roster. No one needs to feel safe and the portal should be encouraged.
  16. That’s horrible from a supposed offensive savant with blue chip talent and can replace players at any point.
  17. They’re a 4th and 5 away from having no national championships in 55 years. Unfortunately, this might just be what this football program is. I’m not sure why my expectations are always so high.
  18. I’m not there at the point of saying he should start. But he came in cold and threw a dime that could’ve set us up. The next two plays after that were the last 2.
  19. Until Texas systemically decides to make football strictly about football this is what we are. But hey we make a lot of money!
  20. I’m not for sure what it takes to win consistently at Texas. I had given up that we would find out and then Sark gets here and gets killed his first year and then shows consistent improvement. Makes the playoffs the last two years, recruiting great, bringing in quality guys in the portal and everything trending up. All that and then we go into Ohio State ranked #1 and I’m thinking we finally found who can win at Texas. Lose a close game there and didn’t play our best and I’m still thinking ok we’re improving. Then we struggle with San Jose St, struggle with UTEP. Come into a 1-3 Florida and get completely manhandled. Now we are back to unsure who can go to the top at Texas and stay there. Maybe in this new college football world no team will consistently win. I don’t know. I hardly ever feel like our team comes out fired up and ready and jumps on an opponent and keeps that fire all day long. We usually play two good quarters. I never feel like we’re the best prepared, the most well coached. Sark always says the other team shows us something we hadn’t seen and it confused us or we have to play a cleaner game after the hundredth 12 penalty game. All that to say we’re back to way more questions than we have answers. I wouldn’t put any money that Sark is the man to take us and keep us to the top. Sorry post is so long. Just damn frustrated as usual.
  21. But we roll out lambos on visits and that’s what these kids see and are immediately hooked on. There’s more on this roster than any coach or mod will ever admit.
  22. Arch holds the ball too long. The one play Caldwell was in, bang. Ball out first down. I’m just sayin. I’m not suggesting Caldwell should be starting, but he’s better than people thought he was , but bc he came from Troy, he’s not good enough to start. And Joey Aguilar wasn’t supposed to be good at Tennessee but look at him. There needs to be some evaluation of the coaching staff and it needs to start with AJ milwee. Just sitting here pondering everything about this game and this was another thought that came up. Are y’all really that sure Caldwell doesn’t give us the best chance to win?
