Agree. Muschamp's philosophy on defense is his D will play as one; what happens with the offense is not his concern, he wants his squad to play with aggressive emotion and give our offense the best chance to win the game.

You would think that a coach who is highly compensated, living in a state that probably is very reasonable in terms of expenses, could afford plastic surgery on his quadruple chin. -

Agree on the baiting. I enjoy watching my team and need no ancillary stimulation to make the event better. Just me. -
He looked good on what I believe were wheel routes, but not so much across the middle; could have been good, wanted instant recognition.

He priced himself right out of Texas. Harris and Sark both told him to kick rocks! It is business, nothing personal.

He is a legend in his own mind. Alligator arms!

The music on there is like a bad training video for a summer job. I do know that I really still dislike Hefty Heupel and hope we beat his a$$ in Knoxville -
2025 Texas OL lacked power, cohesion and mentality. Goosby gained 13 lbs, Siani 15 lbs, Baker 7 lbs, Robertson 4 lbs, Seymore 1 lb. Seems like good weight gained by the tackles and Baker. Guessing Robertson and Seymore gained muscle and lost body fat. Believe we will see more power and physicality after a productive off-season. Goosby's shoulder is also healthy. If we can be more cohesive as Goosby also said, we could be in for a very welcomed improvement in effective physicality. Hopefully reduce OL presnap penalties.

Honestly Livingstone should have said that, and people outside could understand why he went to OU. I stick with the “If you want Cam Coleman money, prove that you’re better than Cam”.

Huge 2024 Texas defensive fan. Our secondary was not the same in 2025 after Gideon and TJ left. Our LB play suffered without Choate imo. PK and Nansen did not seem to mesh. PK has needed the right combo of coaches to succeed at the highest level imo. I am a PK fan but it had run its course due to fit, style and limitations. Sark is hungry and he believes a rejuvenated Will can work from the top down to control the defensive operations and improve the defense play. The style suits Sark more so than bend but don't break. Bobby would know, seems likely Vandy 4th Q disfunction was an issue that led to a more serious look at making a change. Will improved our D in 2008 and transformed us into an elite defensive unit in 2009. 2010 D was a dropoff due in part to the draft. We did not have the needed talent in 2010 on defense. Evals were off with a few 2010 defenders. There was no portal back then to fill in the defensive gaps like now.

No it’s just an Aggie trying to rage bait Texas fans since their team can’t beat us -
I’m one who’ll stick up for PK. I do think we’ll improve numbers-wise this year. Jackson and/or Zina stepping up their rush game will be the biggest factor as to how much. Then if one of the interior guys ups their pass rush game, we could have a devastating defense.

Like @Rod Babers says, "Sark's an entertainer". I wouldn't be surprised if Muschamp's defense has a worse year statistically, but it will certainly be more entertaining. Also, having a DC that doesn't go on the road to recruit is a liability.

Comparing Ryan Wingo to DeVonta Smith Statistically

This is truly the craziest thing about Wingo - how does he spend a year on campus before someone realizes his vision isn't corrected? I've always wondered if correcting his vision wasn't more than just Lasik and maybe he was strabismic or something that required a procedure. -
Andy Staples was talking about this on his podcast with Ari Wasserman on Friday (which may be why Livingstone posted the above). Staples said that Texas initially offered Livingstone "high six figures" for the upcoming season, but Texas cut that offer in half when they decided to pursue Coleman. According to Staples, OU just matched the original offer. Staples is tight with Jim Nagy, so take that for what it's worth. I don't really care one way or the other. If Texas cut his offer, that was essentially showing him the door.

Still have put in the work during the offseason. No entitlement crap. -
Didn't realize that...had to go look it up. Texas hasn’t beaten OU three straight times this century, and that’s exactly why this year’s about to get real uncomfortable for them. Sark already snapped their little “we own the rivalry” myth, hung a 49‑0 obituary on their wall in 2022(we barely lost in 2023 and should have won that game), and now he’s sitting on a two‑game streak with the deepest roster he’s had. So yeah .... it’s true, and that third one is lining up like a slow‑moving train they can’t get off the tracks.

42 Days Until Kickoff: Who Is Your Favorite No. 42?
Blake Munroe replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Dillon only wore 42 his freshman year. He made the switch to 44. -
What are the biggest area/s of improvement did you see and what needs to be improved?? For me Arch throwing layered passes as opposed to rockets to everyone. I think thats part of the worm dirt searches he had a hard time with. Patience for Arch instead of quick bail, and communication for the oline. Defense would be just let the game come to you. By doing this, everyone gets the opportunity to chip in and the rest of the stats will come.
