  2. This team had an identity during the Quinn era. It was initially to feed the ball to Bijan/Rojo and Baxter/Brooks then kill them with our talented receivers. In the Arch era there has been nothing. That’s not 100% on Arch. Just a combination of QB play, 0 pile driving RBs, play calling, and inconsistent O line play to name a few. As it’s been mentioned before, PPG have declined each year since 2023.
  3. I struggle with 50/50 because recruiting is a choice. Sark and his staff evaluated these players, decided they were the right fit, and chose to build their offense around them when they had the entire country to recruit from. If the talent isn’t executing, either the evaluation, development, scheme, or preparation is failing. The players deserve accountability, but the head coach owns all four of those areas. How is that an equal split?
  4. Exactly, unless our offense/special teams finds some magical superpower pill of not sucking a** we will lose 2-3 more games.
  5. Tough call there IMO I think CJ needed a change of scenery, and he wasn't healthy enough last year. I'm a huge fan of CJ Baxter. Hope he makes it to the NFL and sets up his life. Great dude. Real leader as you alluded to.
  6. So 3 more potential losses?
  7. Opponents national rank in scoring defense on the Texas schedule in 2026: 8. Ohio State (13.2 PPG) 19. Tennessee (15.5) 28. Oklahoma (17.6) —— still to play —— 113. Florida (29.0) 108. Miss State (28.0) 108. Ole Miss (28.0) 29. Missouri (17.7) 32. LSU (18.5) 103. Arkansas (27.7) 42. Texas A&M (20.0) Statistically, the three best defenses on the schedule have been played already.
  8. Trash doesn’t have a set schedule
  9. Agreed a very different scheme. Real question tho. Did the Horns give up a little early on him. This team definitely needs leadership...a trait that CJ was known for.
  10. If we hit three losses I’d move on next week
  11. I have a sick sense of humor. Sicker today
  12. Seems to me that Arch is best when he's making quick over the middle throws that he can just zip in and struggles when he is in a slow developing play that requires fast decision making, So guess ones our offensive genius coach keeps calling
  13. I get that, but we’re also paying this offense to compete with these type of defenses, if we make the playoffs we’re going to have to play these defensive teams way better
  14. That's aggie level of BS if you really want to lose out then go be a fan of another team
  15. 💯💯💯💯 PK was scapegoated. Texas fans are so damn gullible. We bought the Muschamp will make me better as an OC and HC con job. Sark doesn't have a clue what is wrong. He doesn't hold himself or his coaches responsible for anything outside of recruiting failures.
  16. Brad Kellner gives some astonishing stats on how bad the Longhorns offense actually is. Ranked nearly last in college football in numerous categories https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeXOnniD9Q7/?srtk=ZGh3cm0ydmYzdzdn Sark is never gonna demote himself. CDC needs to step in and take the reigns of this. We need an offensive coordinator immediately. Out of 138 teams 104th in yards per play 117th rushing efficiency 124th in 20+ yard plays Highest 3 and out rate of any team in the SEC (worse than OU, A&M and Arkansas is outlandish)

  17. After a lateral once the player establishes himself as a passer the same protections that a QB receive applies to the new passer.
  18. It's hard to get into a rhythm when 10 of your 15 possessions are as follows: — 7 three-and-outs — A four-play drive with a punt — Two plays and an interception — Four plays and an interception
  19. I wonder if Sark was busy thinking about the offense not working at our 10 yard line because he does everything. Maybe if he was head coach he might have told special teams about a punt block would be on and to be ready. or make sure the st coach told them. just a thought on that play.
  20. He didn't hit him in the head though. Clearly hit his shoulder
  21. Sometimes all it takes is to look in a different direction. I'm not saying to move on from Arch, I mean literally looking towards a different direction. For whatever reason, Arch looks like a former shell of himself after ending on a high note last season. I don't know what kind of pressure he's feeling, but you can tell he's terrified of the moment. There's no hiding either because the second he gets benched, the media firestorm will begin and that's that. This was similar last year, and he eventually figured it out. The problem is mental and unfortunately the only way for him to get through it is to play through it. Sounds like the fanbase is ready to move on, but I really do think that would be a mistake.
  22. Im leaning toward….Miamis version of Qb. Get one thru portal thats proven, bet on the latest result! KY got a Gamer for Qb! Their leading wr last game was a freshman Darby Sarks-Sabans version of stacking qbs maybe outdated . Arch in another yr …. Might just be another Cj baxter success story once he has these 2 yrs of experience
  23. Today
  24. Can't hit the passer in the head/neck area, which is what he did ... As for the PI call on (I think) Phillips ... looked clean from the front (and probably real time at the game) but in the replay you can clearly see the DBs left arm wrapped around the neck/shoulder area. Good call.
  25. That maybe true, but as Gerry said, the offense will look much better against these teams coming up on the schedule that don’t have those types of defenses. It will be fools gold. At some point you will have to face teams/defenses like that if they want to make a deep run, which this roster was supposedly built to do. I don’t believe they can beat a Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame or even Ohio State again in a potential rematch. I think Indiana and Cignetti would out coach Sark, too. Miami’s D isn’t good, but would they be able to keep up with their offense?
