@Bobby Burton my guess is the new facility will ready for training camp in August with the “ Grand Opening “ public celebration just before the 1st game.

Stanford could too but the gain would be limited as they have sports already expected to score around 60 points. Texas needs to see both Tennis teams advance, either not advancing would lead to a significant score drop. 1 seed Stanford, 2 seed Texas, 3 seed UCLA in beach volleyball this weekend as well. Any change better or worse this weekend would adjust predicted score as well.

There probably is not much news from sources. All we can do is speculate. He has a great roster, but two more players with experience would make a difference.

This thread has more views and posts than any other thread on this site so we appreciate you taking the time to come and say something. Knowing that @Bobby Burtonhas the BEST sources in the program, and not hearing ANYTHING, makes this situation look like it could really be bad. Bobby and the rest of the staff normally don't ignore requests for info and it's been crickets in the biggest thread on the site.

Manning and Williams would be a pretty splashy first round for the Jets.

I'll speak for myself and not the rest of the staff, but I can tell you that if I had information to share, I'd share. The best I can describe the flow of information coming from the women's program right now (again, this is my personal opinion) is that a lot of intel is being kept close to the vest.

What is the plan for the Denius practice fields and the current indoor bubble? Will it be redeveloped?

Recruiting. It hasn’t been front of mind for many given spring training just closed, but it is really starting to heat up behind the scenes. Texas sits at nine commitments. That’s a solid amount. Yet with the month of April coming to an end, we will likely see that number at least double in the next 60 days. So naturally, recruiting is a primary focus inside the building. A few recruits will make decisions in the next 15-30 days, while most are targeting a June decision. A few others will take it into the football season. For Texas over the next month, it will be about closing out a couple of those major recruitments while getting ready for the large recruiting weekends in June. It’s all about setting things up right and then getting it all to the end. As of now, I like where Texas sits with this recruiting class. And more importantly, they like where they sit. ** Many of you have asked about the new indoor facility and the timing of its opening. The current plan is to have the indoor facility ready for football’s regular season. A grand opening is tentatively planned for the week before the football season opener. That means the Horns will use the Denius practice fields in August before rotating into the indoor facility come late August, early September. He's been very quiet the last month too. I feel like losing those three really hurt him. He loved Jordan Lee. She was at most press conferences, played a lot, etc. I am sure that one really hurt. Like losing a custody battle. The fact she remains in our conference sucks.

Uhhh Ryan Williams is a real stretch in the first. Must be expecting a big bounce back after last year.

I think the strike zone has been shrinking for years. They all vary somewhat though. Lots more power in the bats than used to be. When you have to bring it to the hitters zone, you’ll see more balls hit well. People get worked up over walks, but the hits are what adds those runs up. We only walked 4 tonight. Course SHSU walked 10. Still the homers were impactful and none of them cheap. I think all the guys we ran out can be functional. Winter is not ready to start. Hamilton and Howard got pushed more than they’re accustomed to pitching. Grubbs run was off a grounder with an exit velocity of about 70. Crossland had the lowest ERA entering today (not including Howard). Walls has a live arm. Bing has some success at this level. In a key game, this sequence will never occur.
