  2. Let the complaining begin.
  3. Happy game day! We'll post all things game related here. This thread will then turn into live updates at kickoff.
  4. We can't underestimate CDC in this drama. We haven't heard that much from him, but I will guarantee he will make a move - or several - if this trend continues. At the end of the day, Coach is an employee. If you aren't functioning at a high level, if you aren't doing your job and are relying on subpar fellow employees, the days are numbered. Here's hoping he will pull his head out and lead us to victory. HookEm.
  5. Great read Jeff. I understand (I guess) Sark's desire to run a dynamic West Coast offense, with lots of moving parts; personally I don't think our squad can do this consistently. Very few can. Let's make it more basic. Our players have more talent, so let's out-hustle them. The players will perform better if the offense is not like a calculus final.

  7. Sarkisian writes the best play scheme he can for Arch and his teammates. The team must execute those team assignments including Arch. Arch cannot go on walkabouts during the game. Execute the play or exit the play. Do not hang out to see how long it takes to get sacked. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  8. Short answer is, he doesn't. Will be drafted lower than them. Golden was so good.
  9. Golden is obviously an outstanding coach. It's roster construction that's a problem. Unless Golden can hit threes and defend athletic wings, there's another postseason meltdown coming that these media guys simply refuse to acknowledge. This isn't likely to be a big problem except for a few regular season games and the tournament.
  10. @Jeff Howe Love the little explanations with the video showing what you're talking about. Would love to see more of that, if it's not too much work for you. Great stuff.
  11. No one is saying they aren't talented but what they don't have is experience and the issue Vic's coaching presents is that by the time they get the experience, they transfer out.
  12. I’ll echo what OTF Coop live said today - I don’t care if it’s fools gold, I just want to see something go right offensively.
  13. Coleman needs to turn into a defensive back when it's obvious the pass is going to be intercepted. Be a fighter.
  14. Fans who don't follow women's basketball are blind to the obvious. The growth and popularity of the sport has exploded in the past five years and its trajectory is like a rocket ship. Just look at the value of the Valkyries. Talk about a return on investment. These girls nowadays all are working toward similar goals: name and brand recognition, improve their game, play in high powered, nationally televised games, and ultimately play in the WNBA. Booker will be a top three draft pick and will have a huge fan base that will follow her to whomever drafts her! Coach Vic hit the jackpot with his five freshman. These girls are different.
  15. Coleman 30 targets. 57% completion percentage. 4 interceptions. Wingo 28 targets. 75% completion percentage. 0 interceptions. Mosley 26 targets. 65% completion percentage. 1 interception.
  16. Agree. It was a close battle. Philo got the nod due to his experience in the offense at ga tech. Jones may be a better runner and he has a nice arm.
  17. We’ll find out over the next few weeks as we play defenses that aren’t ranked as high. I think a lot of the challenge has been the defenses we’ve played. Ohio State and OU are top 10 defenses, while Tennessee is a top 25 defense. Very few teams have faced the quality of P4 defenses we have faced. We had 380 yards of offense very OU. What killed us vs OU was the 2-0 turnover margin and the blocked punt. OU had only given >300 yards against Georgia who barely hit 300 (with 303). Tennessee was really the worst game on offense due to the sacks and limited rb with Raleek Brown as the only healthy rb.
  18. Before you can be creative you have to be able to do the basics. Dont get punts blocked. Dont miss FGs. Dont make stupid plays like calling for a fair catch when someone else will receive the ball. And last but not least knock off the stupid penalties. If they can unscrew those things then creativity may be worth something.
  19. I guess an analogy I’ll make is I just retired from a 27 year career in a very lucrative/high pressure sales gig. I went through about 16 different managers. I only had a couple that I didn’t jive with in my 20’s but I would never say anything to them, which probably took away from some success those years. Towards the end my career, I didn’t give AF. At this point, my track record spoke for itself. I would be like…,that’s sales aid they want the reps using…I’m not using it. Just sit back and watch! I feel like that’s what Arch needs to tell Sark at this point!🤘
  20. As much as so many Texas fans loved to rip Greg Davis he was able to create offenses that suited classic passers like Chris Simms and Major Applewhite then pivot to run/pass Vince and then back to pass/run Colt, Why has the offensive genius Sark not been able to create an offense that amplifies Arch's strenghs?
