  1. Past hour
  2. Coleman needs to turn into a defensive back when it's obvious the pass is going to be intercepted. Be a fighter.
  3. Fans who don't follow women's basketball are blind to the obvious. The growth and popularity of the sport has exploded in the past five years and its trajectory is like a rocket ship. Just look at the value of the Valkyries. Talk about a return on investment. These girls nowadays all are working toward similar goals: name and brand recognition, improve their game, play in high powered, nationally televised games, and ultimately play in the WNBA. Booker will be a top three draft pick and will have a huge fan base that will follow her to whomever drafts her! Coach Vic hit the jackpot with his five freshman. These girls are different.
  4. Coleman 30 targets. 57% completion percentage. 4 interceptions. Wingo 28 targets. 75% completion percentage. 0 interceptions. Mosley 26 targets. 65% completion percentage. 1 interception.
  5. Today
  6. Agree. It was a close battle. Philo got the nod due to his experience in the offense at ga tech. Jones may be a better runner and he has a nice arm.
  7. We’ll find out over the next few weeks as we play defenses that aren’t ranked as high. I think a lot of the challenge has been the defenses we’ve played. Ohio State and OU are top 10 defenses, while Tennessee is a top 25 defense. Very few teams have faced the quality of P4 defenses we have faced. We had 380 yards of offense very OU. What killed us vs OU was the 2-0 turnover margin and the blocked punt. OU had only given >300 yards against Georgia who barely hit 300 (with 303). Tennessee was really the worst game on offense due to the sacks and limited rb with Raleek Brown as the only healthy rb.
  8. Before you can be creative you have to be able to do the basics. Dont get punts blocked. Dont miss FGs. Dont make stupid plays like calling for a fair catch when someone else will receive the ball. And last but not least knock off the stupid penalties. If they can unscrew those things then creativity may be worth something.
  9. I guess an analogy I’ll make is I just retired from a 27 year career in a very lucrative/high pressure sales gig. I went through about 16 different managers. I only had a couple that I didn’t jive with in my 20’s but I would never say anything to them, which probably took away from some success those years. Towards the end my career, I didn’t give AF. At this point, my track record spoke for itself. I would be like…,that’s sales aid they want the reps using…I’m not using it. Just sit back and watch! I feel like that’s what Arch needs to tell Sark at this point!🤘
  10. As much as so many Texas fans loved to rip Greg Davis he was able to create offenses that suited classic passers like Chris Simms and Major Applewhite then pivot to run/pass Vince and then back to pass/run Colt, Why has the offensive genius Sark not been able to create an offense that amplifies Arch's strenghs?
  11. Great question and Sark knows the answer. Hes just not going to pur Arch on the sacrificial alter. Weve all seen that Arch gets in his own head so to save whatever shred of confidence he has he is gonna take the daggers.
  12. wow. I guess I was more critical of him than needed. He still needs to improve his atrocious blocking
  13. Now compare (reported) NIL payments and you might find similar on-field production for maybe triple the price tag, something like that?
  14. This offense has to show more fight than that. Iron sharpens iron which should yield a better offense as they are going against one of the best defenses in the country.
  15. I get it but I don't see Jones as this significant downgrade from Philo because he's not. Florida isn't any less dangerous than we've thought they are and will be more dangerous offensively than they've been all year because they'll finally have a healthy Baugh, Wilson, VB3 & Singleton for the 1st time this year. I'm very worried about tomorrow.
  16. Good stuff Jeff. Maybe Sark will stick with the screen and dagone run game. Wear that defenae out and then have their way. Our defense will have to play much more disciplined as Baugh if given a crease can make you look silly quick. So far Sark has just about worn out a set of Brembo Brakes on a Ford Pinto. All Brakes no gas. At this point Id be excited to see this thing start and get to a very close destination. 3 and outs are gonna put this defense in some really bad spots. Gotta be this game or its gonna be a really long season.
  17. Humble opinion but Cam is better than either Golden or Mitchell in contested catch situations. YAC is another conversation altogether. Mitchell ended as one of the best red zone wrs since Sark was hired. Golden could take a 5 yard slant to the house. They are all very different in skill set and how they fit into this offense. They also had very different QBs delivering the ball. Id be curious to see how the above mentioned wrs would fare with the opposite QB.
  18. While channel surfing I saw the last 6 minutes of this game. IMG won on a last second FG, but the international kids looked salty! Are we recruiting anyone from the NFL Academy? I saw some decent looking skill guys along with some “Large Humans” on both OL and DL. Do we have staff keeping tabs on the international players? Basketball has recruited internationally before. Is football next?
  19. Excited for this season! Coach Vic is excellent. He coaches this team well with great structure, unselfishness and elite defensive game plans.
  20. I realize that this is semantics to some extent, but it’s not that they aren’t on the same page, it’s that this offense is on the wrong page.
  21. If they can't this week after a loss and so much scrutiny, I don't think they ever will this season.
