The Community College in Lubbock IS NOT HAPPY about this

Even Sorsby would bet the house on Texas. Tech talks all they want with nothing to back it up but cry like babies when shots are fired back -

Here's the quote everybody is running with from the luncheon (not the press conference beforehand). Sark took a question from the crowd during the Q&A about the CFP putting more emphasis on strength of schedule. He even said something to the effect of wanting to be careful and understanding that some people in the room would understand what he was trying to say and some wouldn't, but here's his response: "There's a team in our state that plays in another conference that has a schedule that I will argue that if I played with our twos and our threes, we could go undefeated. And they'll probably make the CFP this year. So, it's a problem. Scheduling strength is a problem." -

Who's the worst QB in this picture?
Here for the Wins replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
It’s like Hurts wasn’t benched at Bama and put up stellar numbers at OU. Nothing to do with the system. Interestingly enough, the bakers completion percentage was 2% higher than Tebows in college. Comparable yards per completion. Tebows interception % was lower (SEC vs Big 12, right?). I’m not a Tebow fan. There have been several references to discounting him being a QB due to passing. Yet ironically Vy and Cam weren’t the most prolific passers either. - Today

Baker had to walk on at Tech to get a shot. I think he even had to walk on at OU at first. -

One signed a two way contract. That was what ended the Alabama kid’ season. One judged let him play five games then the next denied it because of the contract. -

A lot of the questions from the audience overlap. On non-conference scheduling, though, Sark said that there's a team in the state of Texas that plays a schedule Texas could probably play with its twos and threes, but the team playing that schedule has a good chance to make the CFP. That's what he's talking about regarding scheduling inequality. -
