  1. Past hour
  2. Texas should stack the box and send pressure all game to stop the run, contain QB Underwood and make him uncomfortable passing and hopefully cause him to make mistakes when passing.
  3. Sorsby is a guy I could see have a meteoric rise and be picked really really high next year... Kiffin is getting by far the best QB currently in the portal if what Bobby is saying is true. @LSU next year is gonna be a tough game and enviroment but I do like LSU getting Sorsby rather than Kiffin getting another year with Chambliss. I will say that he seemed to struggle more the better the opponent which is not usually a good sign but he's also playing for Cincinnati... playcalling and the players around him are gonna be A LOT better next year.
  4. The panini Texas trading cards are available to purchase on their website. Already looked in my order
  5. Show him some love and give him a vote!
  6. No way to hate that man. He makes colt mccoy look bad when it comes to giving the glory to God.
  7. If not for Bijan, I win my fantasy football championship yesterday. But his 93-yard TD run still made me smile. Reminded of his run against the sooners.
  8. Brees and Fitzgerald are no-brainers to me. I don't see Woodson getting in. I would select Kuechly before Woodson. I'm not sure about Gore either. Vinateri should be a shoo-in... for as much of a shoo-in a kicker can be. Pun intended. Holt should be in. Although guys have passed him on the all-time receiving yards list since he retired. I don't know enough about the OL to know how these guys rate to the all-time greats. But if I had to pick one, seems like it would be Yanda. I don't have too much of a problem with the finalists. I think Adrian Peterson will be on next year's ballot. I think Gronk and Richard Sherman are eligible next year also. Maybe Antonio Brown?
  9. His 7.5 game stretch before season ending injury in 04 was shaping up to be his best season ever too. He was at almost 900 rushing yards and 14 rushing tds in half a season. He was on pace to finish with like 2300 total yards and about 30ish tds that year.
  10. Concise replay of Texas beating aggy.
  11. I remember losing my s*** in front of the tv when Priest when airborne over the pile to score what in my mind remember as the game winning TD.
  12. Michigan is nuts if they try to turn this into a shootout. Given the Texas opt outs Michigan is likely to try to run over us and go after our totally inexperienced LBs. The game is basically a scrimmage anyways but I'm also concerned about how our defense will hold up.
  13. Today
  14. Spent 20 minutes catching up on this thread. What a mental beating this thread has become...
  15. I didn't realize there was a scheme change
  16. Does Texas bring him back?
  17. ON3 couldn't find a better picture for this young man than a junk punt?
  18. Underwood is missing a couple of his key offensive linemen, and Texas' defense beat an Aggy team with a great offense by double digits, even though they were missing their top linebacker and cornerback. I think we will hold up on defense against him and their run game unless we are busting run-gap assignments and coverages. If we can load up to stop the run and force UM into relying on the pass, we can win this game. I'm not worried about the safety as an LB. They are not expecting him to play a run-stopping role. I'm sure he will only play on third-and-long downs and be more responsible for underneath coverage.
  19. This is now the second best receiver in the portal on my list.
  20. true I figured deuce wanted to start next szn
  21. Brown is a stud but a one year rental. It all depends on his goals with the building of the program.
  22. Threats make you back up. We already know interior OL is on the portal musts list... but lineman don't cost what position players cost... so chill, that's a given. Now... Sark mentioned Dereick Cooper for a reason when he talked about the portal.... pay attention. If you pay a portal guy 1 million plus, you expect 150 to 200 touches. The probability of him getting hurt is super high. A receiver..... probably 80 at the most. In this offense... what would a Cam Coleman be... given that we retain Wingo, Mosley and Livingstone? Is he a need... want... or luxury? I know Ohio St will have Brandon Inniss, Jeremiah Smith and Chris Henry Jr on the field next year when the money is on the line. Name Ohio St's running back rn without Google... and name the starter next year. Arch didn't come back to hand it off 250+ times to one guy. You saw how good he was when the season ended?
  23. yea it’s unfortunate new coach will prolly have byrum brown
  24. Duece is a good player. Massive loss for Auburn. Hes a perfect QB for a first year coach to build around
  25. I somewhat disagree with the framing. Agree that Arch is the big key for Texas—as he goes, so go the Horns. But to me the big key for Michigan isn’t Underwood; I’m not convinced he is likely to beat Texas by himself. For me, the big key for UM is whether they can beat the interior of the Texas defense down by running it 45 times. That worries me much, much more than Underwood. They can potentially dominate the TOP and break our spine. It will be critical for the Texas central nervous system to bow up and shut them down.
