What an amazing few years at Texas. No doubt our D played a massive role in B2B CFB appearances and Big 12 title.

Don't think headlines should say 'fired.' We should all be fired from our current jobs if that is the yardstick.

Hope his move is linked to other good opportunities/ fits.

Regardless - thank you coach!

Provided stability and an identity for this team to fall back on as the offense juggled injuries and inconsistency.  Forever appreciative for him taking this defense to elite levels. Gave us something really good to build upon in a transition to a more aggressive/physical style that we frankly were not equipped to run his first few years.  The Rivalry Chessmaster.  Hope the best for him (unless he's coaching against Texas).

Thanks for posting this, seems like everyone likes to kick him on the way out but he did great here at Texas and I'm very thankful for him. Wish him nothing but the best and he will 100% land on his feet somewhere.

Agreed, Thank you PK for a great few years here. I actually grew to trust our defense to not completely collapse and lose the game for us. Far better than what we got from Charlie Strong, far better than Todd Orlando, and Chris Ash. Although I do think he (Ash) was doing good with what we had at the time.

Vance Bedford was fun to watch in a press conference. Sucked otherwise.

Thanks for not sucking PK. Even though you kept our corners 10 yards off the line..

Agreed. Appreciate all that PK did for us on and off the field. The defense was solid the past handful of years and clearly carried us in several games. Can’t take that away from him, so thanks Coach PK and good luck back on the west coast where it sounds like he wants to be. All good for both sides and hope it turns out well for all families involved long term .

Absolutely agree, I’m a PK fan. While I love the Muschamp hire I agree that PK has done a masterful job here both with the defense and player development. I’m going to be following him and wishing him future success unless he’s playing Texas. We absolutely don’t go as far as fast without him and his willingness to learn and adapt. Honestly I can’t think of many games after 2021 where I said the defense cost us the game. Even Florida, it wasn’t the best gameplan or performance in the first half ultimately our o line issues and inability to run the ball and protect Arch is what lost us the game IMO. Thank you for posting this and well wishes PK!!

He is who we needed to bring us back to elite!  He did an amazing job and wish him well wherever he ends up..u less he goes to aggies, then he's dead to me.

I think we just got all wlthe juice we could out of pk and we need more.  But he will go down as one of the best dcs in texas history!
