When the kid crosses the street and gets hit by a bus, you take responsibility as the parent, "but dammit," he said, "how many times did I tell you not to cross the street? "We've got some of that going on," he said. Divided locker room? 1 2 Quote
Shmatt Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Love how unfiltered Miller is, he is the most frustrated man on the court and you can tell 3 Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Author Moderators Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM I think Sean Miller is a really good basketball coach. I don't think folks should give up on him by any stretch. With that said, it's going to be a struggle to get to .500 in SEC play at this rate, making for a tough year. I want to see the guys like Swain, Matas and Wilcher make strides heading into next year. 2 Quote

Why in the world was Heide out there over Wilcher? At this point, I'd rather see Duru gain some experience than what Texas has been rolling out. Heide took (and missed) one shot in 18 minutes of scoreless basketball. He was minus-10 in the +/- tonight. Codie got a DNP. 2 Quote

I am totally prepared for him to bench some players, no matter how bad the losses get. He has to establish a culture. Sit if you won’t do what I want you to do. 2 Quote

817 Boxing B Posted yesterday at 02:58 AM Posted yesterday at 02:58 AM Wilcher has to step it up. He's the only other viable option, as a ball handler, and scorer. This allows you to bump down Tramon Mark and he can be more of a slasher and attacker off the catch... or iso in rotation. Coach Miller has 4 guys that should really be able to cook... but they're tryna gain chemistry on the fly. There is absolutely nothing on the bench worth talking about. Maybe Deru.. and Weaver, of course. But there's no dynamic freshman to speak of. Can't wait to see if we can land one of those it players. Quote

He said the free throws he missed in Maui against Arizona State bothered him for a while. Gotta get an arc on that damn free throw... He shoots the 3 the same way... no confidence. If he can't drive... or post, it's like he can't score. Quote

harveycmd Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Inconsistent backcourt play is killing us. It's not only inconsistent from game to game, but within the game itself. These are fifth and sixth year guys that are supposed to be making good decisions and showing the other guys. Better get a true, leading point guard for next year. Quote

Miller has been saying this for a while. Ultimately, it's on him. He recruited the roster. We'll see what he can do with them over the next few months. Again, he better get a point guard for next season that can be a real floor general. 1 Quote
