Was more of a C than a G.

Agreed. But that’s a lot of interior OL leaving. Five since the A&M game. We are gonna need to portal a hell of a lot more than two interior OL. And looks like Robertson just became a made man.

Wow, hopefully Robertson can play center. Kibble and Cruz same recruiting class. Huge misses on the OL. Need at least 4 Offensive lineman. 2 starters and two guys ready to go in two years.

If they land this duo from Michigan, the guy who played RG for them, forget how to spell his name, he is apparently a better C than G. So that would fill a need there, if Robertson decides to try his hand at the NFL.

But they're going to need to take some depth guys from the portal. Might need to bump the takes up to 6-7. With the losses to the NFL. Have to hope Goosby doesn't decide to try his hand in the NFL either.

Using Jeff's "bust rate" calculation and ignoring the most recent class given it takes at least a year for most OL to develop:

2024

  • Kibble (OG) - bust
  • Cruz (C) - bust
  • Baker (OT) - starter
  • = 67% bust rate

2023

  • Chatman (OG) - bust
  • Cojoe (OG) - bust
  • Kirkland (OT) - bust
  • Stroh (OT/OG) - mixed bag, started a few games but passed up by a true freshman
  • Goosby (OT) - starter
  • = 60-80% bust rate

2022

  • Campbell (OT) - NFL draft pick
  • Banks (OT) - first round NFL pick
  • Neto (OG) - bust
  • Agbo (OT) - bust
  • Hutson (OG) - starter
  • Williams (OT) - NFL draft pick
  • = 33% bust rate

50-57% aggregate bust rate. These HS OL classes we're taking in are also getting way too small.

The Michigan guy decided to stay at Michigan today. Just one of many kicks in the balls we’ve received. Sorry to be the one to break the news to you buddy. It temporarily crashed this site earlier!

Banks, Williams were essentially gifted to Flood as well. Absolute malpractice.

Stroh was dog crap. The fact is Flood is a joke. Guy is killing this program and Sark being loyal to a guy that’s almost gotten his last two QBs murdered is crazy

Ah that means they're both staying then. Weren't we told that they would probably stick together? Big miss there, both of those guys are really talented. Sark made his bed with Flood and he's going to have to lay in it now.

I really need to get caught up, I've been busy all day and trying to catch up now lol.

Yeah when Cristobal went to Miami with his OL coach.

O-line is a joke right now. Losing guys to the draft/out of eligibility and the portal, whiffing on portal targets. Not looking good for next year. 🥺

Still got time to correct but yeah, not a great start for sure. I was also pretty high on that LSU guy who played T for them but was a more natural fit at G, think he committed to Ole Miss?

Cojoe tore his ACL. Hard to call him a bust. Meanwhile you call Stroh a mixed bag, where he was a complete and total bust lol.

You have no clue.  Cojoe was doing well until he tore his ACL.  A lot of your described "busts" are good players who decided to go elsewhere for playing time. To call them busts is insulting.
