After we go 7-5 in Arch’s last season at least we can look back and say… At least we went after the right guys in the portal, they all went back to their own schools.

I’ve continually had the same message. About portal, guys actually going in portal or not, and multiple colleges are going to get caught holding the bag at positions when we look up on January 25 (after dust settles) 

And my No. 1 message is and has been if Texas is 135 in penalties next year and undisciplined… it doesn’t matter how much talent one accumulates.

Convinced several schools ran a group project where they told their stars, “Have your agent reach out to Texas to see if they would have an interest in signing you.” Then Texas, doesn’t re-sign anyone, thinking upgrades are coming. Then—surprise!—everyone stays home and Texas is left refreshing Twitter and message boards.
