Cant find much on the injury, but had surgery in spring of last year.  3 star LB out of St. Thomas Aquinas.  May be able to get him a little cheaper 🤷‍♂️

That's what makes the struggles Texas had in the early portion of the portal frustrating for me. It's not just one thing. It's a case-by-case basis on the misses.

The other dynamic is that Florida and Michigan have new coaches. Texas targeted guys that both schools didn't want to lose.

@CJ Vogel @Gerry Hamilton our biggest needs are LB and OL correct? Sprinkle in a downfield wr and maybe another bruiser at RB, maybe another edge? I understand we have wiffed alot but it’s still early and have basically now and summer portal window to address the problems? I feel like we are in a decent spot? I’m sure both of u have elaborated on that already.
