Joe Zura Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Gerry you and I are so different on the fraud ASU QB. What are you seeing that I am not on him. Here is what I think about him. He quit on his team, watched some games and he has a piss poor attitude on the field when things are not going good. Would love your opinion dad lol. Edited 1 hour ago by Joe Zura 3 3 Quote

We'll see how it finishes for him in 2026, but he's playing for Lane Kiffin with his talent and playmaking ... I'm betting he has a very good season. His biggest issue for me is his brother trying to get in agent business, and what that creates in a negative way. He needs to block out that noise, and go focus solely on ball. 2 Quote
TexasMDcoach Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I have a hard time ranking John Mateer. He looked good until his injury and then really never got it together after that. How much was mental versus having a horrible offense of line? He also did not have a very good group of skilled players around him. I suspect an improved line and skill players, and the reset of a new off season will help him. I expect him to be a solid quarterback next year. Quote

Dawson Yarbrough Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago There are more questions than answers with this group. Lots of new starters. Lots returning starters coming back from injury. How will they look post surgery? Will Arch take another step in his development? Do Chambliss and Stockton pick up where they left off? There’s always a year 1 starter who blows everyone away. Maybe Keelon Russell from Bama? too many questions to try and rank them. BUT the fun part is seeing how it all unfolds through spring and fall camps and eventually through the season. Hookem. Quote

Assistant Regional Manager Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago (edited) I’m not exactly sure what Missouri’s plan was at QB but I do not feel like they significantly upgraded from what they had when everyone was healthy in 2025. I’m surprised Tennessee didn’t bring in a transfer Jared Curtis is going to have a tough welcome to the SEC with what Vandy lost at the skill spots. He has a lot more experience playing than Arch. How does Arch look year 2? Edited 33 minutes ago by diegozanna20 Quote

Complete toolbox that at times wasn't even utilized that much last year. Can scrable, can run, can sit in the pocket and pick you apart. *Trinidad Chambliss -> Really good, pretty experienced already so how much can he improve? He does not have the same physical traits that someone like Arch has. Can still be the better college QB on this list but I got faith in our guy. Gunnar Stockton -> Incredibly high floor, very reliable, can do everything a Georgia offense would ask him to do, Georgia has won with much worse players at QB. Underrated. LaNorris Sellers -> Can make magic happen, if he gets better as a passer can shoot up this list. Beautiful moonball. John Mateer -> Accuracy issues. Gamer. Sam Leavitt -> Can make wow plays and can make incredibly head scratching plays. Gonna miss time due to injury. How does he fare against SEC defenses? Byrum Brown -> I'm probably underrating him. Very talented. KJ Jackson -> Very impressed from what we've seen last year against Texas... but then again we sucked at defending the pass. Again, probably underrating him based on name recognition. Marcel Reed -> Turnover prone, very limited toolbox, not big enough or talented enough to be that unrefined as a passer, gets in his head after making bad plays. Austin Simmons -> Turnover prone, gets in his head after making bad plays, long baseball-like release. Not a lot of experience. Can definitely shoot up next year. Quote

The rest are TBD because I have no idea at this point. The caveat is that Arch might be #1 by the end of the season. Edited 9 minutes ago by Bunk Moreland Quote
