Look at titles. Luka hugs. It's like I'm judge talking to Toadvine.

It seems like you dont know what a relic is.

an object surviving from an earlier time, especially one of historical or sentimental interest.

If I'm not mistaken, Magic had four titles by the time he was as old as Luka is now. Is that a relic of point guard play?

And basketball is played exactly the same today as it was 30 years ago.  🤦‍♂️ (sarcasm)

Did you forget that titles are the ultimate arbiter?

Shai alexander was the assist leader for the thunder last year.  Was he a pass first pg?

I'm talking 40 years ago. Does 40 years change physics?

Basketball is night and day different from 40 years ago.  If you think otherwise, you may not have watched in 40 years

After all, forty years changes everything in the history of the world.

WWII doesn't matter. Cold War doesn't matter. The foundation of Western Civilization in fifth century ancient Greece doesn't matter. Ball chasing changes everything.

Florida won the NC with two combo guards last year

UConn won the first NC with two combo guards

It's because of the systems run now a days.

I asked the question because there are very few true PG's these days.

What Jason "White Chocolate" Williams said recently is spot on for me. Going to watch a lot of AAU hoops, HS hoops and individual workouts ... PG's are doing drill and skill training more than anything now. Their creativity is being put on the sidelines because the game now is so much about spacing, catch and shoot three's, movement through sets and actions.

Jason "White Chocolate" Williams doesn't mean much to me. If I'm not mistaken, he never did much against the best.

Who do you think was the best PG ever, Gerry?

I didn’t watch the Miller interview so not sure what he said.  You don’t need a pass first point guard but you absolutely need guys that can handle the ball and control pace.

Brunson is my favorite PG right now and he’s absolutely not pass first.  But he knows when to take over vs when to defer.  When to push vs. pull back.

Magic had 42, 15 and 7 as rookie in game 6 of the 1980 NBA Finals. I'd say that's pretty versatile for "pass first" point guard. I don't understand what these idiots are talking about.

Ok I am new here. Who the F are you, and what part of your resume makes you such an expert?

I really can't believe Miller's answer to Gerry's question about point guards. I have no faith we'll ever win anything with a goober like that as head coach.

Having a bad day, are we sport?

It's true I don't know anything about relics. You're a genius on the past.

If Miller thinks it doesn't matter if a PG is a pass first player, it won't matter. It's like we got Bucky as a coach.

We have a top 10 offense in college basketball this season lol. Our issues are on defense.
