It's not like he turned himself in, an online sportsbook contacted the NCAA exposing his bets. Does a pyromaniac not go to jail (suffer the consequences) from arson or should that person be absolved because it’s “compulsive addictive” behavior? Do kleptomaniacs stay out of prison or not get in trouble because they’re addicted to stealing? What an absolute joke. Prosecute this jackass under any portion or stretch of the law that you can, ban him for life from everything.
