Remind me

who is JD pickle and does he get paid a lot to make predictions, or just run his mouth.

I’m sure he’s paid handsomely. He’s high on Texas for 2026, he just doesn’t know how long sark will be here which is a fair point.

Josh Pate said last night the mood for Texas fans is championship or bust . Agree or disagree?

Agree. I get that some people don’t see it that way, but the mix of talent and experience of this team, plus the amount of money in this roster, puts me in a natty or bust mentality. At some point, you have to do it.

Disagree but it would be disappointing to not see a Manning win one, that’s for sure. There is too much involved to say championship or bust like injuries, crappy refs, uncontrollable circumstance, etc.

I think if he was confident Sark stays after next year we would be higher.

I am very curious why so many people seem to believe Sark is interested in leaving soon

I dont think people think he’s necessarily interested in leaving at this point in time, but who knew saban was gonna up and retire when he did? People are just aware that sarks gonna come up in coaching searches especially in the NFL. There’s always an opportunity that could present itself sometime in the future.

There’s about 15 - 20 programs every year that have a natty or bust mindset

Totally understand, but when they've only won a natty once in the last 55 years, you wonder why expectations are always so high on what to expect here.

I think the fans who feel that way are way to invested in having a manning be here and not leave with a national title.

With the current portal construct and the ridiculous calendar these coaches deal with on top of high school recruiting I think every college coach would jump at an nfl job.
