A run-rule win on opening night.

It doesn't get much better than that!

I get bragging rights at work as it took LSU 8 whole innings to run rule Milwaukee.  What a bunch of losers.

Pack has been very impressive tonight

His error in right was a freshman mistake but he’s got a chance to be special.

Yeah, I didn’t see the error, but really looking forward to seeing him improve through this season!

Anthony Pack’s high school field didn’t have a fence. He’s been working on playing balls at the wall and putting in a lot of work in the field.

He’s also playing right field, which Augie always said was the toughest position to play at Disch-Falk.

The ball was hit to shallow right…. Pack was running in while Mendoza was hustling out to make the play and it appeared there was confusion because Pack and Mendoza were both in the same area. That was my take while watching. Didn’t see a replay though.

Yes sir that’s Packs ball all the way he has to call off Mendoza and go make the play. In the replay it didn’t appear Pack was calling off Mendoza. To clarify I actually don’t know how they scored it I had it as an error.

Was Ruger throwing that hard last year? I don't remember that necessarily being the case.

Before the illness took its full toll, Riojas consistently sat at 92–94 mph

He put on 15 pounds of "good weight" and improved his strength and conditioning through the winter/offseason, increasing from his listed 192 pounds in 2025 to 205 pounds, and has seen an increase in his fastball velocity.

That's awesome! Thanks for the info. Should help his stamina too as they relied on like 5 guys all of last year and that seemed to take a toll on him late.

Have had the honor of being around the Occupy LF crew for a decade plus.  Best experience in the Fandom, IMO.  #FORETHEDAMNCANNON

The Wild Bunch seems to be forgotten in Texas Baseball lore 🤘

One of my most memorable moments of UT fandom was spending a regional weekend with that crew behind the first base dugout in the early aughts.

Yup! I remember well myself! Our seats were up above them on the first base side and they were Hilary and ruthless!

Freshman mistake, won't happen again IMHO

With one of the original Wild Bunch, Scott Wilson passing away. Someone needs to step up and keep it going in his honor. IMO he was UT No. 1 fan.

Looked fantastic last night too. If he can sustain mid-90s, that's massive for this rotation.
