Moderators Jeff Howe Posted March 7 Moderators Posted March 7 I can’t recall off the top of my head seeing something like this, but Texas A&M-Corpus Christi protested a game against Nicholls and won the protest: 2 Quote
.45s Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I didn't play in college but remember a couple of times in high school and in pony league when an ump didn't know the rules. I was losing an argument with an ump in high school, but when my coach showed up and cited the rule the ump believed him. Quote
Tuco Ramirez Posted March 7 Posted March 7 That sucks for Nicholls, they didn’t screw up the call but now have to replay the game. Quote

I kind of agree with you....but not entirely. Coaches and umpires should all know the replay rules. For Pete's sake, the conference goes over that stuff ad nauseum. As a former umpire, I am actually surprised that a quick overview of replay isn't addressed at each home plate meeting along with park ground rules, weather, etc. 1 Quote

Can’t remember anything like it since the George Brett pine tar incident! Quote
