tommym Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Domino's are falling, makes a clearer picture. Plus, still early in recruiting process. With these commitments means, Texas is getting hint of another bigger fish. Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If you’re surprised or shocked by these recruitments not going our way during the summer you either don’t follow sark’s recruiting tactics or just want to scream the sky’s falling for nothing. 3 2 Quote

Hookem72 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This feels alot like last year when we thought we would get multiple major OL recruits and were lucky to get Turntine. 1 1 Quote

I think he's got immense potential.. maybe not "best recruit in years" potential that Justin Wells seems to think.. And in this NIL era, how much are you willing to pay for guys to develop for 2-3 years before playing, and which top end recruits will even accept this? OL is the hardest position to figure out NIL allocation IMHO. Quote
Casey67 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) It looks like it's Peyton Miller. Damnit. I was honestly hoping it was Camara. I get a weird Ojo vibe with him and want that recruitment to be over sooner than later. I'd love to have him but I don't want us pursuing him so hard we miss out on someone else. Let's not forget though: Texas is poised for a fantastic season (talent wise). If we go deep in the playoffs, some of these kids might flip. Edited 2 hours ago by Casey67 1 Quote
Lock n Horns Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It’s the same thing every year. This community loses its mind because we don’t have every five star in the country committed by the end of April. The darkest day, July 4th, hasn’t even come yet so settle in. But it will turn. It always does. Texas hasn’t even made their money offers to these guys. Long game baby! 3 Quote

When they flip or go somewhere else it isn’t the “sky is falling” its just disappointing. Last cycle I feel like Ojo sabotaged his visit week and drove other recruits away, like the IOL kid who packed his stuff and his mom drove him straight to Aggy where he promptly committed. Quote

Ron Ajatrom Posted 40 minutes ago Posted 40 minutes ago Man i still wish Texas didn't let Jayden Woods leave without committing. Biggest mistake of the portal cycle. Quote

Woods was a want, not a need. For the amount of money it would if cost to land him we probably wouldn't have gotten some of the other players that we needed 1 Quote
