AMfemme Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I’ve been holding onto a Cedric Benson 2001 signed novelty - it’s on the Build-a-Bear pajamas of the BaB my mother had made me before a long trip back in 2001. She was and is a diehard Longhorn and received her masters at UT Austin which is what prompted me to ask to have the keepsake she gave me autographed. (As a 10 year old I thought she’d appreciate a longhorn’s autograph). Some of the UT football players from that season visited my middle school - Leander Middle School - I can’t remember why they were there, but I do remember them having an autograph table in our cafeteria. I’ve kept it in a box for 25 years and I’d like for it to maybe go to someone who can actually appreciate such a unique (and super random) artifact. It'll be interesting to see what they do with college sports cards, especially because they want to promote Olympic sports in markets where they're popular. Quote
