On Riojas, 77 pitches were about the limit for how far they wanted to push him, given the shoulder issues. Add in a long wait between innings with two lefties coming up and I see why they did it.

Well not sure with Ruger . Maybe pitch count or soreness.   But our relievers have been mediocre all year.   Can’t get far in playoffs without them.

I have no problem with the change of Ruger.

I was bitching about when I Ruger getting hugs before the inning 😆

These guys think they are Paul Skenes.  DONT THROW BALLS.  Throw strike!!  If they get a hit we can deal with it.  You’re not the ace.  And noone bitched  about change because we didn’t  know we would give  out free passes in a one run game. Duh
