Dread-headed Texan Posted June 13 Posted June 13 😂 I'm just here to pretend I know anything about soccer when the truth is I'm just looking for a reason to drink and scream U-S-A🤷🏿 3 Quote
Califashorn75 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 (edited) I am surprised by the teams that didn't make the cut: Italy, Costa Rica, Chile, India, and China. I bet the Italians are seething they choked in the playoffs. Edited June 13 by Califashorn75 1 Quote

USA no excuses left. No less than Quarterfinals is the expectation or we blow it all up from youth soccer on up in this country. 2 Quote

EHoff99 Posted June 16 Posted June 16 France vs Senegal should be one of the best games of the group stage. Quote

EHoff99 Posted June 16 Posted June 16 All of the Europeans have quieted down for the most part since they're realizing how incredible this World Cup has been and will be.... But I can't stop laughing at them complaining about what time the games are for them. During the Tokyo Olympics, I was up at 3 AM watching Water Polo and averaged like 3 hours of sleep. They just don't want it bad enough Quote

Been incredibly entertaining. And reading and watching all the interactions and travels of people from other countries visiting America has been heartwarming, funny, and good for my soul. And I remember the 1994 FIFA World Cup...and it was not anywhere near as entertaining as 2026 has been thus far. 2 Quote

Man, this World Cup has been hitting like emotional therapy with better snacks(when the USA plays). I didn’t realize how much I needed to watch international fans discover Buc‑ee’s, freak out over portion sizes, and treat Dr Pepper like it’s some kind of controlled substance. And look - I’m not even a “watch every match” guy. Honestly, I don’t watch the World Cup until it’s down to like four teams… unless the USA is playing, then I suddenly become a tactical genius who yells at the TV like Berhalter owes me money. 1 Quote
