The Texas Longhorns begin their NCAA-record 39th trip to the College World Series looking for their NCAA-record 89th victory against the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia won the SEC regular-season title and the SEC Tournament.

Neither team has dropped a game yet in the NCAA Tournament.
