This is one of the big portal targets we’ve been talking about for a few days. Arguably the biggest positional need for Texas in the transfer portal has been filled by one of the best catchers available.

Savoie would have been nice but he hasn’t been a full time catcher. He’s played OF as well in his first 2 years of college. Armstrong is a true catcher with elite defense and a big time bat. He’s probably a better fit for what we need behind the plate and his offensive numbers speak for themselves. Great pickup!! Hook em’!!🤘🏻🤘🏻

Great pickup.  WOW the sky isn’t falling 😃😃

This kid might hit 25 homers in Austin. You know how when that wind gets to blowing regular fly balls start jumping out.

Thks for posting this...don't watch too much baseball, but one of my questions was>>>>was Tinney a liability behind the plate? He seemed to make a lot of errors in some of the games i've watched. This guy seems pretty good on defense.

Wait so what does this mean for Tinney? Isn’t he a junior

He'll be drafted high enough that he'll sign a professional contract. He's not coming back.
