Moderators Blake Munroe Posted 1 hour ago Moderators Posted 1 hour ago I would love for ALL OTF members to participate in this. We will be unveiling our Top 25 Horns of the modern era (1992-2025) in a couple of days, but I want to do a fan vote for the Top 10. Please go to this link and record your responses. No registration required.... just be sure to submit your answers! https://forms.gle/zFmAXzFRHLujFvCy8 Please remember that this is ONLY since 1992. No answers before then will be counted. The 1992 season marked the start of college football's modern era due to structural shifts in television revenue, the rise of super-conferences, inaugural championship games, and the first coordinated attempts to match the nation's top two teams in the postseason 4 1 Quote
Doc Strangemood Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago Beginning the "modern" era with 1992 is completely ridiculous and I suspect that it just conveniently corresponds to when you began to follow UT football. Don't be afraid of history. Learn it instead. 3 Quote

Perhaps the next exercise is to list out the top 25 ‘61-‘91 etc. Quote
GoHorns1 Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago 92 is when a certain moderator graduated from Texas. 1 Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 15 minutes ago Moderators Posted 15 minutes ago FWIW, 1992 was also the first year Division I teams had to operate with the 85-scholarship limit. Quote
