I learned a couple of years ago for the first time that my father (now 90) had a huge crush on her. I understand why.

My Dad, who passed away 7 years ago at 80, was a huge Dolly fan.  Beautiful picture of her.   She was a great lady.

My collection…

Truly a very sad day. She was one of a kind. I can remember her as the young girl "Norma Jean" on the Porter Wagoner television show, which my dad insisted on watching. I think I will always love her.

The heavenly chorus just got a big addition and angelic voice! Hope she’s up there singin’ with Aretha, Whitney, Janis, and putting on a heck of a show!

In a time where it was hard to be nice and humble, she always managed it well. Even in political times she got her point across respectfully. We will never know all the things she did to help people. Damn shame there aren't more like her. But her works of kindness will go on no doubt. RIP we will always love you!!
