This is first official depth chart I've seen. Are we all going to align on Fr., So., Jr., Sr., and "5th"? I'm not sure if I have any better ideas. As an old man, part of me wants to somehow magically leave Freshman and Senior as the first and last and insert something in between those to describe the 4th year

If they only put up like 90 yards rushing again on a G5 team to open the season, it will tell me all I need to know.

 

Similar to us, they will lose a ton on defense next year.

Whitt according to Sooner reports had a strong camp, and he has the strongest arm on the roster. The freshman struggled a bit in camp.

Lloyd Avant is starting because he had the healthiest camp and a good camp, but he shouldn't be there long time starter there. Tory Blaylock has been having hamstring issues. They are really big on Hatton and the duo of Xavier Robinson and Hatton.

No experience in any of them it seems? Newbauer played a bit at Mercer as a true freshman but that's it?

I like that Sark continues to add a guy llke Matthew Caldwell or MJ Morris each year.

Hopefully the days of backup QBs making Heisman campaigns off of us are finally in the past with Boom on board.

Looks like they are getting their best 5 on the field with Fodje playing center after their starter was injured.  He and Newman formed one hell of a tackle duo at Bridgeland.

I didn’t realize Fodje has moved to Center.  Interesting.  He showed me something as a true frosh RT last season, so I was expecting him to develop even more at the position this year.

Why do they even carry more than 1 QB? They’ve already proven they’ll Weekend at Bernie’s Mateer out there no matter what.

They’ll be much better the last year. Their ol rivaled ours for impotency but they’ll be much better. They have TEs now so we can’t completely ignore them like last year. I’m not a mateer fan but he can play well enough to beat us. Add in Rod’s statistical fact and we simply don’t beat both rivals very often in succession. Also, there’s zero doubt we have been their off season focus. They have to stop this slide.
