Ohio State loses to two of USC, Indiana, and Michigan, has an ugly game but beats the Ducks, and ends up 9-3.  Do they make the playoffs?

They may well make it this year. I think there are going to be fewer 10-2 teams. The schedules this year are just brutal.

They will be edged out by James Madison by the CFPC

I do think we'll see some three loss-teams in the playoff this year, but I don't think Ohio State loses two more games.

No but only because no 9-3 has made it in without winning there conference yet, they would have a good argument though

They would be relying on some November chaos to get in. Same position we were in and we had the most chalk November ever

I think their offensive line issues will be a huge liability against any team with a good DL.  But they are definitely playoff worthy.  Really good QB and receivers.  Solid defense.  Good RB.

They’re not going to face many teams who can manage their offense and hold it to 23 points.

I could see tOSU being a bubble team,  just like anyone else right now except Miami and ND.  To me, Sayin is maxed out.  Hugh floor, but is it high enough in a talent neutral environment - and TOSU has several tough games on its schedule this year?
