Texas has offered 2027 LB Jason Crenshaw Jr. out of Prattville HS in Alabama

Crenshaw committed to Georgia Tech on June 11th after taking summer OVs to Georgia Tech and North Carolina

Texas is trying to get Crenshaw and his family in for a game this fall. Texas also plans to see him out in Alabama in the coming weeks.

He's listed at 6-2, 215. 

We're still working to learn and gather more on Crenshaw but I heavily assume the offer was extended primarily for offball LB

I don't think this writes off Fox and Texas completely but we haven't heard anything as of late between Fox and Texas. 

Still lots of time left in the cycle and Texas will usually extend a few offers at a position when hunting for late adds/senior evals

Issue with Fox, currently, is Kentucky made him a top NIL priority in the class. 

Not sure Texas and Georgia are willing to go there, as of today.

I expect a few more 2027 offers to go out this season ... linebacker and safety are definitely possibilities

Good to see they're still pushing for LB's. Between this guy and the Hudson kid, that's a good start. Also assuming they'll hit the portal for some experienced help next year.

Awesome, Texas will find two linebackers in these class. Texas does a great job of finding and evaluating high school talent.
