Vols LB Coach

A lot of Vols twitter people talking about their LB coach William Inge having a stroke today. Some reports are he passed, some are he’s still alive but not looking good for him. Definitely adds another emotional piece to the game. Prayers up regardless. 
 

Tennessee football posted the coach is in the hospital with a personal health issue.

Unfortunately I'm an expert on this matter.    First, let us pray for his recovery.  Lord, hold him in your protective arms and heal him.  In God's name we pray.  AMEN

If he had a massive stroke, then everything changes from that point forward.  I had one almost 5 years ago.  I remember hearing the doctors tell my brother, who asked, "what do we do now?" in the ER.  The Dr answered, "We've done all we can.  It's up to God now.  But he needs a miracle."  

I so badly wanted to answer at that time, but I was unable to talk.  They saw a motionless body.  But I could hear every word they said.  I stayed in the hospital for 24 days.  At first I couldn't walk, couldn't eat, couldn't drink...NOTHING.  Fed intravenously.  I pray that the Volunteers LB coach is better off than that.

Recovery takes committment and PMA.  Don't let anyone who is negative around you.  I recovered because I was willing to go the extra mile.  Way more to the story, but I'm doing very well now.  Am I 100%?  No, but considering the doctors didn't predict that I would live even after I left the hospital, I'm doing great.

I truly pray for LB coach William's recovery.  God bless him.

They were busy saving my life and they could not have known that I was actually conscious.  They were just treating a motionless body.  But I could hear EVERTHING.  

But, and I know this might seem weird, I never for a moment thought that I would die.  I believed with all my heart that I would recover fully.  I have for the most part, and it certainly doesn't happen overnight, completely healed.  But I no longer can play golf.  I can go out there and insult myself, and I do, but I'm really not capable of playing actual golf.   Frustrating for someone who played competitively.

I was reading some of the comments under there and people were ripping the reporter for posting this. Apparently the stroke isn't what he's in hospital for? No one really knows what's going on as the family and school have chosen discretion. 

Either way, sucks for him and the team. Wish him all the best with whatever is going on and a speedy recovery.
