Motley has a Perfect Game 10 rating on his prospect page, and was a standout to many during the 17U Perfect Game All-America Game in August up in Philadelphia. 

6-foot-5-inches tall and clocked a 6.8 in the 60m as well.

Left-handed stick that has a ton of raw power. Nice get for the Horns.

Seems like Schloss is still recruiting at a high level.  Maybe that Jack Marder he picked up from Oregon isn’t so bad. 😃 

We know the other coaches are top level.

First, thank you for the continued baseball coverage.   Second, can you give us a general breakdown on how we are doing recruiting wise & in particular vs the LSU’s, Ark, MSU’s, etc.  Also, what are the thoughts to date on the newcomers either portal or signees.   Did we do enough in the portal?

Per PG Texas has the #2 class for 27’.. 18 commits with 6 being in the High School top 100. LSU has the top class for 27’.  The 28’ Texas class is currently #5. It has 6 commits with 5 being in the top 100. Schloss, Marder, etc are recruiting at an elite level. 
 

For 28’ ATM currently has the #2 class with 10 commits (2 being top 100 in HS).. Cain hasn’t missed a beat unfortunately. Florida has the #1 class in 28’ but things are just started to heat up for everyone..

Yeah 2028 is just starting for Texas. They will continue to host prospects over the next couple of home games with several commitments still to come.
