What Happens if Special Teams Gives Up a Big Play Against Florida

Featured Replies

I know the general sentiment has been that you don't change coordinators (even special teams) in the middle of the season. That being said, imagine if Florida makes a big play on special teams again this week.

Now imagine that somehow that special teams play makes the game close. I am not sure the firestorm from fans (and donors) would allow for Banks to stay in charge of special teams (at least officially). Surely the odds of giving up a ST touchdown three games in a row is beyond miniscule, but somehow it doesn't feel like it would be shocking?

Sark has made it clear that Banks is untouchable. We will just have to face the fact that special teams are actively throwing games away as long as he is here

I know one thing that will happen.  These boards will melt down.

I would imagine that it very well could go national

TVs will get broken, marriages will get tested, and livers will be beaten like they stole something. This site will be renamed, " On Titanic Texas Football" going forward. Lord, you don't want that to happen, so help us and save our sanity oh great one.
