Glad to see a Texas coach get the value out of their roster NIL!

Goosby having a big day is massive for the team

Basketball season can’t come soon enough

It's here. NBA regular season starts Tuesday. Already shifted my focus to basketball to avoid the toxicity of football fan goofdom.

Might as well change the name to On Texas Basketball.  Football is over, christmas has been ruined.

Closed door scrimmage .. I cant pass that along.

Punch led Texas is scoring today.

5-13 or 6-14 from three as a team.

Encouraging perimeter performances in both scrimmages.

The excitement continues to build - any other scrimmages before St John’s next week?

Reminds me of the excitement we had this preseason for the football team. We are dooned

Atleast one of them did. Other made a business decision and refused to jump on a lose ball with the game on the line

To do my job in terms of slowing down unrealistic expectations ...

Best case is 25-7/24-8 and No. 2/3 seed

Or anywhere from 25-7 to 22-10 and 2-5 seed in the big dance

But very well coached team in brute of a conference!

Wish our football head coach was a good coach

What is this teams biggest weakness or concern heading into the season?

Hard to say for me yet...but

1. If Isaiah Johnson were to go down at lead guard. With Mikey Lewis out, that would create real issues.

2. I think opponents are going to pack the paint on Texas some this year because they draw so many paint fouls ... who does Sean Miller have on the court in those times? The best offensive team on the perimeter for that (Ogden and/or Sterling) is also the worst defensive team (Sterling) vs. the best defensive lineup (Evans or Freeman).

I'm sure something else will pop up when watching them play
